Because the wording of Avenger is “cannot spend”, and the wording of admonition is “Discard”, ie, not spend.... There is no interaction as to speak, and Admonition can discard a die that way, even if Exhausted.

@Order66 Beta vs. Darth Veggie starts on Monday 8 PM UTC. Then we will see what Avenger can do against Admonition! ?

@Aresius vs LTD has finished, with Aresius scoring 176 points to LTD's 140, for a 6/5, MOV of 36.

Aresius had initiative and made me first player. I chose Intel Sweep, and Aresius picked his Bail for turn 4.

I had a chance in turn 2 to steal the objective with my VCXs, but made a glaring activation error. Then in turn 3 I had a chance to block the Liberty from getting into range of the 3rd objective using a Rieekan'd flotilla, but failed through activating it at the wrong moment - I talked myself into my own failure on that one.

Aresius got the three tokens to my two.

I went to work on the hammerheads, killing two, and putting the hurt on the Liberty. I made a bad Nav decision in round 5 for final placement of a corvette, which meant the liberty lived on no shields and four hull. Disappointing is the word.

But, a good game, and excellent opponent.

For iFART purposes:

Aresius lost 2 Flotillas, 2 hammerheads

LTD lost 1 Corvette, 2 Flotillas, 1 VCX.

I did have a logfile, but it seems not to have saved properly. I will see what I can do.

Zamalekite vs @RapidReload finishes 391:209 MOV 182 to me for an 8:3 win.

I had the bid and chose first player choosing his Fleet Ambush. I managed 7 tokens vs his 1.

A final round of bombing whiffed with an Adar'd Scurrg rolling two blanks blacks - his last remaining combat ship survived with one hull, doh!

I lost Yavaris and both my GR75s, the BCC getting narrowly clipped in the last turn for a final ram. I lost Corran, Tycho, Luke, 1 VCX and Dagger.

RR lost Yav, Pelta, naked HH and all squads.

Thanks @RapidReload for being such a great sport! We finished very late Austrian time and I caused a couple of pauses (thanks kids!).

JJ had the bid and chose second player. I chose his solar corona. He had my quasar cornered and was near tabling me but I was able to slip away. Made a dumb mistake of trying to kill his Cymoon that was going to fly off the board regardless but oh well. Happens.

I lost Centicore, both Gozantis, and my Vader Raider as well as one TIE phantom.

JJ lost Cymoon and a victory.

PT106 vs @MandalorianMoose ended up as 9-2 in my favor (MoV 294), however this doesn't really reflect the matchup at all, as MandalorianMoose had very bad dice through the whole game, so not one but at least 4 different important encounters resolved in my favor where they should not (including him needing 3 rounds of squadron shooting to kill Demo instead of 1 and me being able to table his ISD, which I had no business of doing based on position and both ISD loadouts).

For the record, we played Contested Outpost with me as second player, I tabled him and lost both Gladiators and one gozanti, while having 5 outpost tokens to his 1 (500-294). All my squads (single Ciena Ree) survived.

Bantha vs. Tokra is over.
We were playing my Sensor Net.
Bantha got 415 points, i got 301 (120 from Tokens) points. This makes a 7-4 für Bantha with a MOV of 114.

His Admo was left on two hull, Luke never hit anything (like so many times...).
His dice were just to hot. Rolling hit/crit all over with the black dice was insane. The Hammerhead did 7 damage with the side attack and 4 with the front attack against the Yavaris on the drop.

I made a few mistakes, especially when flying in to fast in the first round (should go to speed 1 and jsut stay at my side...), but after all the Raddus is just an insane commander. Way to easy to fly, way to dangerous with a huge area that he can block and forcing the opponent in a totally defense stance.
Somehow i see him like Rhymer pre nerfed. With Rhymer you could draw a huge deadly area around him where the squadrons could go and attack everything. With Raddus it is even worse .
