Hello everyone!
Is it possible to perform a Boost Action right over or on an Asteroid now? Am I getting this right?
Same for Barrel Roll?
Hello everyone!

Same for Barrel Roll?
Obviously not.
I was reading about the "move" section in the rules. There it said a boost is also a move and a move can be performed over or onto an asteroid.
On the other hand, the boost section itself states, that a boost fails, when it would overlap an asteroid.
No, it's not. Unless you have Collision Detector.
Basically, you can't boost or barrel roll onto an obstacle, unless you've got something special that allows it.
Collision Detector is the easiest one to mention, as it explicitly allows you to do so. Other abilities allow you to ignore the obstacle entirely: Dash Rendar ignores obstacles while he moves (a term that encompasses both maneuvers and actions), while Qi'ra lets you ignore an obstacle that you have locked. I suspect there will be further pilots and upgrades that continue this same theme, as we've seen for the upcoming Mining Guild TIE pilot, Captain Seevor .
Boosts and Barrel Rolls are a subsection of moves with their own rules. Anything relevant for moves applies, unless there's something specific in the rules (and here there is). They're the squares in a world of rectangles.
