Maybe OP is hoping for a wave 3 announcement with the Clone Wars factions. (Please don't refer to them as Prequel Trilogy factions, it makes me even sadder that we are getting droid fighters when you remind of the trade federation from Ep 1.)

Nah, he means more specific previews.

I'm hoping there is another (new) First Order ship, at a minimum, to make it 2 Resistance, 2 First Order, and 1 Scum ship in the wave. The four ships already announced are just "In Development" while the 2 conversion kits are "At the Printer", so I don't know what the likelihood of the wave being any bigger is. Personally, I'd hope for another release for Rebels and Imperials, but I'm not expecting that. Around when would we expect Wave 2 to release anyway, December?

December is a solid guess, but more likely Jan-Feb if they tell us December

Then again, wave 12/13 DID make it in time, so we could be back on for Dec....

PART of Wave 2 was announced at GenCon. I believe there will be more ships in Wave 2 for the Empire and Rebels.

A pretty solid guess would be the A/B-wing and TIE Interceptor/Bomber, following the initial waves of 1.0, getting the 2.0 treatment.

That’s what I’m thinking as well. Hoping the B-Wing has either folding wings or rotating cockpit/body.

That would be nice but I wonder if they can do it without things like hinges sticking out like a sore thumb. I'd rather have a solid piece of that's the case.

I wonder if it was a bad idea to make the models a bit more intricate. Seems like it will just leave people annoyed that a miniature won't be able to do something.

I think the devs said that they would talk more about the new factions in November, so I guess they will either reveal what wave 3 will be or what we can expect from them then.

I’ve got a feeling we’ll be tempted by new sculpts, moving parts, new paint or all of the above on re-releases to tempt us.

November sounds logical for a Wave 3 announcement since we’ve seen the Wave 3 Championship kit advertised for a Feb release.
