This used to be called "Fantastic Beasts" right? One of those names which provides absolutely no info into the content of the list. I hate those.
Anyhow:
-
Fenn Rau (Predator) 70.
- I've kind of bought into the thought that Fearless is kind of a trap card. Deliberately placing yourself in an enemy's firing arc is worse than getting out of arc. Predator is a reroll instead of a full die convert, so it can fail, but with a focus token, it'll only fail 25% of the time. So 50-75% effectiveness, at 67% of the cost, and it encourages better play.
- Contracted Scout (Proton Torpedo) 61.

Contracted Scout (Proton Torpedo) 61.
- Large base should be decent for blocking, and these things are fairly hardy. Compared to other ordnance-first ships, these have an extra green die. Large base with barrel roll seems good for getting blocks. It's worth considering a Kimogila, though. Fixed 3 dice instead of mobile 2, they'll have Contraband Cybernetics, and can easily add something like R3 Astromech for more TL options, or maybe Expert Handling. Medium Base blocking is also probably rather good. They also gain Init 3.
- Maybe it should be Kimoglias, but Fenn Double Jump is traditional, dammit. Also, I'm scared by only 2 shields and 1 green die.
-
Bid is currently at 8, but Fenn probably puts it to strong use. He certainly doesn't want to get caught with his pants down.
- If that's more than you think you'll need, I'd add one of the droids 4-LOM or 0-0-0, then both onto the Scouts. 4-LOM means that a well-rolled Torpedo attack is likely to stick against something protected by a focus token. With the 2e Ion rules, the first use of 4-LOM still won't ionize the large-base Jump, and it'll take a second use before locking you into an ion move. 0-0-0 is potential free tokens at Range 1. A jump probably does a worse job than most other ships at taking advantage of that. With only a 2-dice primary and an arc which might be pointing the wrong way, I kinda think 4-LOM is the first addition, then 0-0-0, which probably wouldn't be true on stuff like a Firespray or YV-666.
