Maybe I'm just late to the party but I noticed that although FFG's squad builder doesn't bother to present half points value/threshold while you use it, the information is presented if you choose to export the list to PDF. The thing is, shields seem to be ignored completely when it comes to determining the half points threshold. For example, a millennium falcon will only give half points when it's down to 4HP. Is this something that's been announced and I somehow completely missed it or is it something new?
Edited by LightrockHalf points (according to squad builder)
if it's in the squad builder, odds that it's a bug are most likely higher than odds that it was on purpose

The FFG squad builder has issues. Lots and lots of issues
Probably another bug, though the tournament guidelines will shine light on this.
I was wondering the same thing. Ghost has a threshold of 5, which is half of its hull. But anything with odd hull seems to be too high. Attack shuttle has a half points threshold of 2 health, which is over half of its hull. Very strange.
Oh, BTW it seems "half points" are scored quite literally. There's no rounding up or down. If you've got a ship worth 41 points, half points for it is 20.5 points. Yay.
Interesting, but probably really just a bug. It's also currently telling me that I can't use Luke Skywalker in a 2.0 format list when he comes in the core set.
They have a few issues to correct with the app. They already gave the K-Wing its second missile slot back so they are working on it.
