Has anyone talked about making a setting based off of any of the book series in Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere (Mistborn, Stormlight Archive, Elantris, Warbreaker, etc)? I recently got back into reading his books and the unique settings and magic systems would be really fun to play with but also difficult to convert to really any RPG.

There is a RPG based on the books that is not bad. Doing it in Genesys could be possible, just get your head around the concepts.

The actual effects are the only rolls needed, much of the descriptions can be fluff... A skills for each "metal " maybe?

Mind you that is just a quick thought. If I were to do it I'll use the novels.

This could be cool. As Gnosis mentions, there is a Mistborn RPG that is actually quite good (and has a lot of extra material on the Mistborn world). Doing the Mistborn Metal magics is definitely doable, though I'm not sure about skills for each metal, perhaps a talent, with three different skills. Not really sure what would work best (busy translating my own world to Genesys at the moment).

Just making my way through book 3 of Stormlight, and I'm LOVING that world.
