The luddites won! They sent in too many hand written letters to FFG. It forced them to spend too many man hours opening them and getting several nasty paper cuts. They have abandoned the app!!!!

Well, it’s 6:30 and still no app. So now, instead of a slow rush downloading the app as people wake, we’ll ALL get notified at once when the app goes live later today and crash the server as we ALL try to download it at the same time.

The app will live on Google's/Apple's app store server, not FFG's, so hopefully won't be subject to all of us hitting it at the same time.
