Are you switching factions? Mixing up the ships you fly in your preferred faction? Giving the new pilots a try?
I'm sticking with my Rebels, but I'm DEFINITELY going to give Vader and 4 TIE Fighters for a couple games ![]()
Are you changing what you fly in 2.0?
I will never leave the empire but x wings look pretty good and I want to try them. Boba looks really sweet too. I intend to dabble but my heart is imperial ?
I flew a bit of everything in 1.0, so that's not really changing. I never got into flying Corran, so my play time with E-Wings wasn't particularly in depth, something I hope to correct. Nora in the Y-Wing seems like some good fun. And it will be good to give the old Firespray a good airing.
Nope, X Wings for me with an A wing here and there for fun. Looking forward to seeing what the resistance faction has to offer in that regards though.
nope i live and die with Squints
I never bought any Scum, Sequel Trilogy ships, or Legends-only ships, so my desire to main Imperial was never really feasible. I had to play rebels most of the time instead, and I had a lot of fun with X-Wings, U-Wings, and B-Wings, but I'm super happy to come back home.
Short answer: No, now I can finally get back to my original faction.
And maybe get some scum too; the fangs and boba look really cool. Or else the First Order. Haven't decided yet. But I'll probably break into a third faction. Time will tell.
Before second Ed, I hadn't flown a 4 ship list in Literal. Years.
I've never flown a five ship list
I only flew Imperial once in a blue moon in 1.0, so I decided to not get an Imperial Kit, instead opting for 2 Scum and 1 Rebel.
Ship wise I’m still a Scum HWK Addict, with the Scyk a close second... But the Scyk may sit out a little while, awaiting more cannons.
I really don't fly just one faction but, towards the end of 1.0, I flew First Order exclusively with the Quickdraw + two PS 4 Silencer list. In 2.0 I'll fly all of the factions to get a feel for them and, once I have an idea of what they can do, concentrate on one or two for primary usage.
Yes. Regen Corran is effectively gone. I loved flying him, but this is a good thing.
I flew K-Wings and Y-Wings in 1.0. Since K-Wings are nothing but scrap plastic in 2.0 IMO, and Y-Wings will have an even shorter lifespan than in 1.0, I will probably just run whatever Rebel netlists are crushing the latest meta.
I never bought much Rebels/Resistance, so I'm not converting them. I think I'll play some imperial aces to start with, and I'll go back to my janky scum mini ace swarms eventually. Also "Kath and the pirates" (KAth + 4Zs).
I have a hard time building lists that aren't imperial.
I’m running 3 interceptors plus stuff at first.
Never used a single interceptor before - just never got round to it. So they will be first to hit the 2.0 tables.

Seems to be a trend
I think it will be Soontir + 2* Saber Squad + Del Meeko for the release tournament on Saturday !
So far I've rarely run the same list more than once...
At least for the first few waves it looks like I can fly a fairly large variety of lists, both competitive and thematic, without having too many issues. The lack of options (or at least the lack of extremely points-efficient options) for slots like Talent mean that my love of generic pilots is going to be more than just an oddity- I have a feeling we will see a lot of generic-heavy lists throughout Wave 1 and 2, balanced with some ace lists that require better piloting.
I flew PTL+BB-8 Poe. And I will do that again!
In 1.0, I bought everything in multiples to have enough to field stronger 200 pt. and Epic designs for myself and family members. I love playing bigger point battles, though now Armada fills that niche.
For 2.0, I’m buying 1 rebel and 1 imperial conversion kit, and 1 starter. That’s it. I’m done chasing ships for OP sloppy design that will just get nerfed after FFG sells out of product. I’m very excited at the prospect of only needing 3 ships from my massive 1.0 collection, and am putting the rest into storage. 1.0 is far from dead at my kitchen table so I’m sure I’ll get the stuff out every now and then.

Unlike my initial plans it works with just one conversion kit. Not entirely set on Soontir, yet, he may push the list too much towards anti-swarm. The reasonable idea would be dropping the fifth brother, but for the Punishers debut I'd like to go all in. Kestal doesn't quite use up enough points to be comfortable...
