For ships that are cross-faction (ie Tie/ln, z-95, etc) Can I use the rebel dial in an imperial list and vice versa? I know you could in 1.0, but I'm wondering if there has been a ruling for 2.0. I searched in the rules reference but couldn't find anything.

Pretty sure you can still use any dial as long as its the correct dial for the ship.

I think it’s okay, especially since you could buy the dial upgrade kits and put any faction under there and as long as it’s for the right ship and has the same maneuvers, shouldn’t be a problem. I would allow it at my events.

Just don't try to use the various YT-1300 dials across factions.

Oh is this a thing? Perhaps my need to trade for another TIE/ln dial is less pronounced than I had thought. I mean sure it would be nice, but if I can use my rebel dial, why bother?

do you have enough ship bases? that's my concern. thinking about just picking up another tie/ln expansion for the bases.

Yeah I can easily do Howl + 6x Academy Pilot but I only have 6 blue TIE/ln dials. Apparently I can use a red one for Howl
