Yeah, that change for OL seems about right, given that her pilot ability has been SIGNIFICANTLY nerfed, and it seems likely to me that Comm Relay is gone as well, so OL will more than likely just have a target lock on the initial engagement which is pretty pathetic.

She's no longer 'attack with lock and evade and juke, maybe focus if you've got a friend to throw it' she's just 'attack with no mods versus naked green' which is pretty bad odds.

We still get advanced optics, so the initial engagement should be Focus/TL. I'd been running her in 1.0 with Optics and Score to Settle. She was incredibly effective like that, and very cheap compared to the Relay/Juke version. Now that juke doesn't really work with her at all, we're going to see some new builds/uses.

Advanced Optics is the new weapons guidance. It doesn't store tokens, sadly.

Having that with Supernatural will be pretty much how he was in first edition being able to do the double reposition, seems very strong to me.

We'll need to see how the new Vanguard title works, but it doesn't look good for him. ISYTDS is taking some hits in 2.0, with the removal of Damaged Cockpit and the nerfing of Blinded Pilot. Panicked Pilot (assign two stress tokens) now looks like the strongest Pilot crit. Unless it allows him to fish for Ship crits, it's not going to be nearly as strong.

Plus, Kylo's losing his status as the First Order's top initiative pilot, as well as the crazy shenanigans afforded to him by the Advanced Sensors/PTL combo.

He loses the initiative but Supernatural + auto thrusters gives him basically the same maneuverability (sans 3 bank blues) while still allowing his normal action for three actions a turn.
