(Takes place after the Interlude)

Beep..beep..beep....BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!

While manning the scanners, Elas begins to pick up a signal in the distance of 16 forms approaching. One appears to be humanoid in nature and the other 15 robotic. The life forms appear to be descending upon the city. The humanoid appears to be moving at a swift pace, while the other 15 roboit more of a stride or walk.

The signals appear to be coming from the northern part of the city.

" Robotics and a humanoid organic incoming? What might that mean, other than the obvious of having droids and a living humanoid coming this way? "

There is no emotion - there is peace. No finer moment that this moment to wait and see what happens. Although the fact that there are droids in any massed number does seem offsetting. What with the droid army occupation and all.

Inspector Lance Deckard dashes outside, flipping down his scanner goggles as he goes. Could be a ruse, of course.. classic "I'm being chased by your enemy, so I must be your friend..."

"Ah, Frekkit. Just a kid."

Heedless of whether the kid's in trouble.. or the kid is trouble.. the Investigator activates his jump boots, and he's off, trench flapping behind as he speeds toward the life form on his scanner.

Just a kid.

Jonjo quickly evaluates what happens. The Inspector is on his way. For some reason, there is haste. Not knowing details yet, Jonjo is slightly confused. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. But there is no knowledge yet, for one member of the team simply speeds off, no one else shares information. Sixteen targets, one appearently a kid.

" Well. That escalated quickly! "

Jonjo heads off after the inspector, on foot. His lightsaber is in his hand, still deactivated as not to provoke unneccesary violence, but ready nonetheless.

Rhothgar runs after Jonjo. "What's going on?" he says gleefully. "is it a fight? do we get to fight?"

" I don't know yet. But the inspector is in a lot of hurry all of a sudden! "

As he runs after Lance, Jonjo looks down at his hand again, there it is, his lightsaber. Still not ignited, but ready nonetheless.

" I advise to be ready for anything! "

With that said, Jonjo waves his deactivated lightsaber at Rhothgar, as he continues after Inspector Deckard.

The B-1 droids continue to pursue their target, the sixteen year old teenager fleeing from them. From a far distance they begin to see figures emerge from the northern city gate of Dee’ja Peak. Lowering their blaster rifles they begin to fire.

(B-1 droids are at long range. The sixteen year old is one step between long and medium). .

Droid initiative.

Initiative. : 1eA 0 successes, 1 advantage

Hek thumbs the 'stun' switch to off on his blaster as he takes off after Lance, Jonjo, and the rest of the team.

"Normally I'd prefer to get a few answers before rushing into battle but that young man looks like he's in real danger!"

"FIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!" Rhothgar yells gleefully, springing his claws and running headlong into the fray.

Blaster fire.

" Seems you're right Rhothgar! "

With but the flick of a switch, a humming green blade erupts from the cylinder Jonjo had at the ready, and the yough Jedi follows his companions towards the assailants.

Jonus unslings his carbine and slides into cover behind the pillar supporting the outermost archway as blaster fire fills the air.

Dumb kids. The only one with half a brain is the one running FROM the droids.

So help me if one of them gets shot and makes me run out there...

One of the battledroids has a yellow paint on his yellow head. The captain so it seems.

The captain notices a green lightsaber being activated in the distance followed by figures charging at them from the ruined city gate.

“squads one and two! go after the Jedi and their allies!!! Squad three go for the kid!”

The captain yelled in a high voice the captain being a member of squad three lowers his gun at the child fleeing from them

The other battle droids yell in unison as roger roger echoes down a line like dominos falling after a flick

Jonjo strides forward, towards the battledroids. Knowing that he wouldn't stand a chance by just charging into them without thought, he uses what rocks and shrubs he can to take cover from the assailants.

The fewer the droids, the less they hurt us.

Crouching low against the stone pillar, he takes aim at the nearest (though still far off) battle droid.

*Pew pew pew*

Through the smoke of his fire, he knows he didn't damage the incoming droids.

But wait? Was that officer coloring he saw as he squinted through the smoke of his failed laser blasts?

In any event, the droids in the radius of his blaster spray seemed to slow down a bit in response to his fire...

What do you want? I'm a medic, not a marksman...?

Fitz Darin's first instinct is to make a beeline for the fleeing teen, but he adjusts his approach somewhat to get the droids into range. Raising the concussion rifle up to his shoulder, he lines up the shot and fires. One shot.. Two kills! Gotta love clankers in formation.

Rhothgar continues to gleefully charge headlong at the droids.

All 10 battle droids open fire at the group. A series of blaster bolts land at the feet of the teenage girl as she ducks behind the rock beside Jonjo as she whispers....

"Help me."

Another set of blaster bolts flies over the head of Fitz.

As Rhothgar charges forward, a stray bolt from the lead B-1 battle droid strikes him in the shoulder.

" Stay in cover, we'll help! "

With that, Jonjo steps up and charges headlong into the battledroids. Somewhere during his clamber over the rocks he was taking cover behind, or during his run towards them, Jonjo loses momentum, and by the time he reaches the battle droids, his lightsaber provides nothing more than a nice light show as the battle droids deftly step aside or duck below the rather unrefined swings of the young Jedi.

Jonus stares unbelieving as the two jedi padawans stride straight into the blaster fire.

"Of all the karking nonsense..."

His sentence ends unfinished as he sees Rothgar take a glancing hit.

Muttering obscenities under his breath, he hauls himself from behind cover, then sets out at a dead sprint towards the droids, sliding into cover behind a waist high stone wall.

*Step 1: neutralize the threat. Step 2: treat the casualties. Those who forget step 1 end up as step 2.*

He remembers his hard-fought lessons and forces his breathing to slow and his hands to steady. Without time to aim precisely, he fires at the group of battle droids which seem slightly farther away from the hapless twirlings of Jonjo.

*pew pew pew*

This time, his blaster fire connects, coring one of the battle droids and sending it flopping to the ground. A second droid behind the first seems to have taken a few hits, but continues to advance despite the smoke coming out of the blaster holes in its torso.

Taking another shot with his LJ-50, Fitz neutralizes the immediate threat with a devastating blast.

Now.. gotta get to the girl.. Running toward her, he tries to see if it she might be Crysenia?

The Captain of the B-1 Battle Droids gives a "Ruh-Ro" as It's processor flashes a quick memory before fading. The head of a B-1 Battle droid with yellow paint at the top rolls by Jonjo's feet.

Rhothgar leaps headlong into the group of battle droids, swiping at the nearest one with his claws, barely missing.
