Had probably my last 1.0 game on Sunday with a few other regulars for some casual games; first round my Boba and Guri were handsomely crushed by Ryad, Sabacc, and Vermeil. Second game my Kavil, Palob, and two Hotshot Z-95s managed to kill a Resistance Bomber and Zeb/Sabine before predictably succumbing to Corran.

Third and final game, my Kavil squad up against Torani, Palob, and Thweek.

Thweek "Thweeked" my Palob, so we had three Palobs Palob-ing. Managed to de-Palob his Thweek, and after much bloodshed, it came down to Tolani with one HP, and one of my harpooned Binayre's with three HP. Tolani killed my Binayre at range one, thus destroying himself... FINAL SALVO!

My first Final Salvo roll ever, and we both rolled seven red dice. Luck handed me the FS victory at three-to-two; it was truly a lot of fun.

Anyone else that is planning on shifting to 2.0, and had some remarkable games in The Last Days of First Edition?

This weekend some friends and I travelled to another town a few hours away for the last first edition tournament in the state.

I took four X-wings and won, defeating one list with harpoon missiles and another list that was the classic Nym/Miranda. I feel like I vanquished the evils of first edition.

Final salvo'd in my final game of 1.0.
