Worlds

By Mogrok, in Runewars Miniatures Game

So I committed to worlds. I figure that would be the best way to force myself to actually paint my army. Although I have yet to even play a game lol. But from attending Worlds for Armada I realize how much a great experience it is regardless. Yesterday I did all my basing material on the models of my waiqar...today prime and drybrush the bases....then this week start to paint.

I'm also using this opportunity to try to get my army painted. Been working on my xbows.

Yep, it's a handy deadline to put some pressure on! I'm finally doing some basing.

Does worlds have a painting requirement?

I would love to go Worlds and support this game but the cost is so high I cannot justify it to my wife. I worked it out and at the moment, with flights, accommodation, food budget, etc, etc, I would be looking at around GBP£1,000 (flights and accommodation come to GBP£850 on their own) and that is the cheapest I can do it.

Maybe if I booked it six months ago, it would be more feasible. Maybe next year ! Hopefully the prize support will be just as good, gutted I won't get my hands on any of it. :(

Maybe they can bring any left overs to Euros ? :)

No, but it does have a painting competition.

Plus just the incentive of having a painted army for a big tournament.

Should I paint the 3,817 remaining skeletons, or bail and bring 14 Spined Threshers? ?
