My wife and I played are first game of Dunwich and got are butts kicked. Makes the game alot better. Any one out there thinking of getting it, do it.
I just bought Dunwich
Congratulations, consumer. You have acquired one of the best expansions out there.
Enjoy the following:
- More places for gates to open
- Awesome AOs
- Some of the best expansion investigators
- Some of the best expansion monsters
- Injury/Madness cards
- A bunch of other cards that you usually won't use but look cool when sorted within your box
My first experience with Dunwich was.. well. a trouncing as well.
This is gonna sound silly, but is there any where out there which rates the AO's and the investigators from best to worst? Is there any way to even objectively do this? When we started playing, not having the cultists and having monster surges spawn extra monsters really, REALLY hurt.

See the statistics thread at the top of the page (it's a sticky). To answer your second question - yes, there are several. Is there a single accepted way of doing it? No.
Thank you. Whats the next expansion I should buy?
Depends on which ones you've already got I suppose. Assuming Dunwich was the first:
If you'll get them all eventually, I'd just get them in order of release (so Curse of the Dark Pharaoh first). They do sort of build on each other in terms of complexity and difficulty.
If you're not getting all of them, I'd go with a small box expansion. Get the one with the theme that appeals to you the most. The King in Yellow does a very good job of the theme I think, and will finally get you scared of the terror track.
Beat Dunwich last night, my wife and I. It was tough.

::Laughter:: how much did you get paid for saying that?

If money's not an issue I'd say get them in order of release, if money's an issue, I'd say Innsmouth.
