I haven't been on for a while so if someone could help I'd appreciate it.
Is FFG going to publish an on-line pdf of all the cards (pilots and upgrades) with text? I was really hoping the 2.0 would do this.
Thank you,

It doesn't look like the PDF is going to be a complete source. You will need it, plus the cards, to have a pilot's complete capabilities.
I don't know about a pdf, but the official squad builder app/web site should have at least the text of all the cards. For third party stuff, check out the 2nd edition wiki , the infinitearenas card browser and the sirjori card database .

That's disappointing but maybe not unexpected. I was really hoping for an 'official' goto reference of all cards. Even the wikis and squad builders typically list only one card at a time or the chosen ships and upgrade's cards. ?

I really like this one. I use it a lot, and I especially like that he has 1.0 and 2.0 in the same place. As I homebrew, I often refer to both editions of the game.

100% agree. And me, too.
What's even more disappointing is that private individuals always seem to be the ones to produce better resources. . .

It's nice, but unless I'm missing something it doesn't have a 'list' of all cards and text. You select a card then view the text.

Yes that is a real shame.
Having a complete list of card's text would make the game so much more accessible to casual players. With the quality of the miniatures I really don't think it would hurt sales, but make the experience better. For people like me at least.
Do you know if the expansion packs will have cards not included in the core game or conversion kits?

Go under "ships." You'll get this table:
http://xhud.sirjorj.com/xwing.cgi/ship2?ship=arc170starfighter
Granted, it's ship-by-ship, but all in one place otherwise.
Otherwise, no, I don't think there is one all-powerful table that contains, well, everything.

I think so, but to be honest, I'm not the guy to ask. Not a big fan of this 2.0 thing.
Edited by Darth MeanieHaving to buy ships to get cards to use on other ships was one of the reasons I quit 1.0. That is why I wanted to get a list of cards with text from an official source.
This will push me right back out of the game before I've even played. Maybe I'll just update my existing ships with conversion kits and stop there. I stopped buying anything 1.0, so update and not buy anything else 2.0. Oh well, I'll never be competitive but I have way plenty of things to play casually.
Too bad really, but I have plenty of other things to play too.

Well, an online builder could have made that a non-issue, casually at least.

A lot is hanging on the utility of the app for me. If all it does is make tournament meta adjustments easier, then 2.0 is nothing more than a tricked-out 1.0.
And technically, I'm pretty much still persona non grata given that I was never properly welcomed into 2.0 without any notion of Epic.
Appageddon is in 3 days. We'll see.

I'm teaching my wife Magic: The Gathering. It's practically a new game to me as well, since I got out in 1999 with the advent of The Stack.
But best of all, I can 100% play my cards from 1996 with a Commander Deck I bought last week. No conversion kit needed.
Unlike XWM.

I have a list of upgrades X-Wing-UPGRADES for FFG.pdf broken down by release

For Wave 1, the answer is mostly no. All the Pilot and Upgrade cards in the re-released ships are in the conversion kits, so the only thing you are missing if you buy the conversion kits are the Quick Build cards and some different token counts. However, the new ship releases (Lando's Falcon, TIE Reaper and Saw's Renegades) have Pilots and/or Upgrades that are not in the conversion kits. I expect this to continue in Wave 2, where the Resistance Conversion Kit and the First Order conversion kit will have the same Pilots and Upgrades as the re-released Wave 2 ships, but the new ships (the RZ-2 A-Wing and the Mining Guild TIE) will have Pilots and/or Upgrades that are not in the conversion kits.
For Wave 3 and beyond, most of the cards are already in the conversion kits, but I expect there to be some new ones added as the waves release. FFG has said that there will be a way to buy the new Pilot and Upgrade cards in the re-released ships without having to re-buy the models, but we don't yet know what that will look like.
Additionally, for the most part it looks like you don't have to buy out of faction ships to chase a card you want, but there are already some exceptions (Moldy Crow is only in the Rebel Conversion instead of both the Scum and Rebel kits; BT-1 and 0-0-0 in only the Scum kit instead of Scum and Imperial). We'll know more once Wave 2 and 3 come out.

Well this isn't the same as a pdf of all cards and text but it is definitely the next best thing. That would work for me.
Downloads kay for me - here is the first part
I still can't get it. But this, at least the part I can see, is just the list of abilities that come with what ship/pilot not the actual text.
Thanks though,
