I opened up the core set yesterday and one question came to my mind.

Whats with all the 1.0 obstacles? Can I still use them in tournament play or are only the 2.0 core set obstacles allowed?

1.0 obstacles are legal (aside from the Raider’s epic only debris)

The 2.0 obstacles are actually just duplicates of 6 of the 1st ed obstacles, BTW.

That’s actually kind of a bummer to me, but I guess they didn’t think that mattered all that much. Would have liked to see more obstacle choices.

I would like to see more KINDS of obstacles, nebula clouds, ion storms, maybe sensor satellites, etc.... but I really have no interest in seeing yet more SHAPES of asteroids and debris.

Maaaaybeeee a few more debris field just to bring the number up to parity with asteroids. Purely for OCD’s sake.
