On the Lam during your own activation? Can you move?

By Kalandros, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Vinto performs a move, moves up 5 spaces and then shoots Han.

Han returns fire

Vinto plays On the Lam which says "Perform a move" (which means gaining movement points) - its vinto's activation, so ... does he get movement points and thats it? (no immediate movement) or can you spend movement points right away?

Do those movement points add up to your movement point pool if you don't use them all?

In your activation, you gain movement points and you can spend those at movement time (without interrupting current action). Out of your activation you gain movement points and interrupt right away to move, if you don't move you can't use them anymore.

That much I know but this pertains to an Interrupt from On the Lam, which Interrupts to Perform a Move - can you actually spend those movement points from On the Lam before the attack is resolved or does using On the Lam in your own activation become redundant as you gain movement points but can't spend them until after the attack is resolved?

During your activation, movement points go in your pool. You can’t interrupt Han’s return fire to use movement points in your pool.

Spending movement points is a "during your activation" ability, so you can't spend movement points during actions or other abilities. On the Lam also isn't a special action (movement points from special action must be spent during that special action).

Like said above, the movement points received during your activation (unless from a special action) go to the activating figure's movement point pool and can be spent during the activation when not resolving other abilities.

(Move X spaces would be performed immediately, there is no saving them.)
