First Turn Additional Actions Thought Experiment

Yes, I'm that bored today.

Let's get Lola to 20 actions on the first turn. Oh, and let's use Will to Survive as well.

Let's limit ourselves to the starting 5 cards, 5 resources, 3 friends, but perfect luck. Actions may or may not be meaningful, that is to say, Lola can spend an action(s) to get an action.

0. Lola purchases Arcane Research during deck construction to receive a Mental Trauma. This is optional and the reasons made clear later.

1. Lola has 3 friends: Roland, Zoey, and Carolyn. They each draw 2 x Guidance and 1 x Police Badge. Between the three people, at least one of their remaining cards has at least 1 Willpower icon to help Lola out.

2. Lola's opening hand: 2 x Improvisation, 1 x Will to Survive, 1 x Ace in the Hole, 1 x Police Badge. (5 resources, 3 remaining actions)

3. Lola will go last this turn, which allows the 3 other investigators to each use 2 x Guidance on Lola giving her +6 Actions and each can play their Police Badge. They each have no further actions because they've used all three to help Lola. Thanks guys! (5 resources, 9 remaining actions)

4. Lola will begin the game with 1 sanity damage and as a Survivor so that she can play Will to Survive for 4 resources. (1 remaining resource, 9 remaining actions)

5. Lola's friends throw their Police Badges at Lola. She now has (1 resource, 15 remaining actions)

6. Lola uses Improvisation naming Guardian and draws a... Police Badge! What luck! She use one action to equip it at -3 discount and then uses the ability for a net of +1 action. (1 resource, 16 remaining actions, 1 spent action)

7. Repeat step 6 with the other Improvisation. The card drawn is Liquid Courage (1 resource, 17 remaining actions, 2 spent actions)

8. Use Lola's character ability to switch roles to Rogue and play Ace in the Hole. (1 resource, 20 remaining actions, 2 spent actions)

This is the end of meaningful action gain. Everything else is basically treading water.

9. Equip Liquid Courage and draw three cards: Double or Nothing, 2 x Quick Thinking (0 resources, 16 remaining actions, 6 spent actions) Hey, better lucky than good!

10. Take a drink to heal the sanity damage caused by Arcane Research. Not sure if this action would be legal, otherwise. Use Double or Nothing and 2 x Quick Thinking to increase the difficulty of the skill test to 4 and Lola's Willpower to 5. Since there is no token pull, perhaps Carolyn approves of drinking away your problems and commits a skill card with at least 1 Willpower icon. However, Roland or Zoey can do this as well. It's just less funny. Successfully passes this skill test by two yields +4 actions. (0 resources, 19 remaining actions, 7 spent actions)

Stopping at step 8 yields 20 actions this turn without token pulls, but only 22 total actions. I mean, those skill test better all be 3s and the rooms better not end your turn, but still.

Stopping at step 10 yields 19 actions without token pulls with a glorious 26 actions used on turn one.

It'll never happen, but thought experiment.

Hello! Idid sometingsimilar on ,,Win the game in one round" thread. Well thought, but let's say Lola Has Police badge and 1x True Survivor and other cards.Also if it is perfect luck, it can be better, as I said in my thread about Lola and on Arkhamdb.

1.All friends(the same ones) have 2 Badges and 1 Relic Hunter,1 Guidance plus One emergency Cache and some skill icons on cards. All play the cache, Badges.((+12 action on Lola)).

2.Lola has 1xImprovisation,1x Double or nothing ,2xQuick Thinking, Ace.Start 3 ac, 5 res and +12 actions from police badge, Rogue Lola takes one action to do something easy and commits 2 Quick thinking, 1 Double l*perfect luck* pass by two. 18 ac,1 spent. improvisation into Survivor and Will of Survive, play it, 4res, 18 ac.,Draw 3(15 Ac) into True Survivor,Improvisation , double or Nothing. .Play True Survivor(1 res,14 Ac.) Returning 2 Quick Thinking(if legal),Change to Rogue by Improvisation to l.2 .41 derringer play, use, pass by 3.).Use All rogue skills on test . 17 ac. Play Ace, 20 ac.return but spent a total of 20 action, 27 total.Change to Seeker by Lola Then Draw Eidetic memory play it to copy Improvisation, Draw Police badge, discard it, copy improvisation, draw(action) Eidetic, play it to improvise one Police Badge play it(22 ac.,33 total) two times.. A little bit better. in my example I managed to get to 43 in 4 players, but with cards already played( not first turn ).
