Garm with Liberty, Yavaris, Salvation

By sasska, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Hi! I made this list to see how could Garm work. I love the Nebs thats why I'm taking them and I wanted a fair ammount squadrons. I'd like to play generic ones, I get enough of ace balls, because usually no one runs them here. However I have no clue if this build is playable or not. Not sure about the blue, yellow objectives too.

The plan could be just slow rolling forward and fire/regen shields while using the squads to strike them, or to set back the hostile ones.

Name: Liberty, Yavaris, Salvation
Faction: Rebel
Commander: Garm Bel Iblis

Assault: Most Wanted
Defense: Planetary Ion Cannon
Navigation: Dangerous Territory

MC80 Star Cruiser (96)
• Garm Bel Iblis (25)
• Toryn Farr (7)
• Gunnery Team (7)
• Nav Team (4)
• SW-7 Ion Batteries (5)
• Quad Battery Turrets (5)
• Liberty (3)
= 152 Points

Nebulon-B Escort Frigate (57)
• Dual Turbolaser Turrets (5)
• Yavaris (5)
= 67 Points

Nebulon-B Support Refit (51)
• Hondo Ohnaka (2)
• Dual Turbolaser Turrets (5)
• Salvation (7)
= 65 Points

GR-75 Medium Transports (18)
• Ahsoka Tano (2)
= 20 Points

Squadrons:
• 2 x A-wing Squadron (22)
• 2 x X-wing Squadron (26)
• 2 x B-wing Squadron (28)
• 2 x Y-wing Squadron (20)
= 96 Points

Total Points: 400

Any advise/note would be great.

Without a way to move them around faster I'd swap the B wings out for two more Y wings use the points you save to bring along an ace or two maybe Tycho or Luke. I feel like something should have spinal armaments too.

Mc80L

Engine Techs. Seriously, If you take one less speed and trigger it, it will provide the same nav chart as the nav team. It can be triggered with dials too and give you speed 4 on a large base! Also you can spend the token for speed increase AND trigger it. All around better. Also the ship becomes much more unpredictable.

Toryn seems an odd choice to me here. Strat adviser or Lando would be my choice. Toryn seems a better fit for a ship that wants to stay close to squads like the GR 75 preferably with bright hope title.
Liberty title is really not the job the ship wants to be doing. This is really the last ship that should push squadrons even with Garm and other token suppliers every other token will help the ship do the role its good at: killing stuff with lasers.

Your squadron wing is all over the place. And the B-wings might just get left behind, while the a-wings can't use their mobility if they want to stick close to your other squads. No intel means Bombers are getting pinned.
I'd suggest:
Jan Ors, 2 YT-2400s, 3 X-wings (90 points)
That also frees you MC80 from the need to push squads.
