But my argument is that it's more fun this way! 
For example, what if I want to draft a team with players that favor a certain admiral/ship/playstyle and name it appropriately? For example, Jerry Raiders, Cracken Jets, Motti Titans, Sloane Steelers?

Oh, I didn't think about that. I was thinking we'd be sending our picks to geek secretly. But you're right, he did say that we'll be putting them in a thread. Seems like it would be an advantage to declare your team at the last minute.

I made a Google Form that went along with the Save the Date for my wedding, but forgot to ask people's names. I assumed Google would let me know the e-mail addresses of the people who responded, but no...15 people responded before I realized my mistake.
So we literally just have to pick random people? Can't we at least see their lists?
I don't even know like 75% of them...
Also I don't want to Accidentally pick a REBEL player, gah!

Yup, bad luck. You can draft any non-Patriots AFC East Defense to fill in the gap though!
