Almost by definition, as there is no "official" depiction of the Victory Star Destroyer in any of the mass-public consumption media (aka, Movies, TV Shows), it cannot be Iconic.

Whereas the CR90, being the First Ship you see in A New Hope, is, almost by definition, Iconic.

Lets pretend he asked CR90 or ISD.

To me it's the ISD but as @Drasnighta said the CR90 is basically the very first thing you see in Star Wars and it is with the good guys instead of the evil Empire so extra points to the CR90.

Happy Friday!

Warning, over 40 perspective.

I gotta go with the CR90. I spent the years leading up to the release of ESB thinking that the CR90 was what a Rebel capital ship looked like. Even then, we didn't get anything but the GR75 transports, and the Neb B in the closing scenes. It wasn't until RotJ that we got to see it as a small support ship. CR90 all the way!

Happy Friday (or it will be tomorrow if i stop posting and get some damned sleep).

Gonna put another chime for CR90 here, i have a hard time making a Rebel list without one. The quintessential Rebel ship.

I would argue that ISD/VSD is more iconic than a CR90. If you show a picture of a Star Destroyer to random people, they will instantly recognize it, Pizza slice = Star Wars. Even if they didn't see the movies. But if you show them a CR90, most likely they won't know what they are looking at.

Edit: maybe the question is valid for us Star Wars nerds, but I think for Average Joe the ISD is far more memorable because of its distinctive shape.

I would say the ISD despite of the CR90 being close. I mean the default perception of that scene is:

"Look! A ship! And it's being attacked by... What the **** is that? It is huge".

The ISD impressed me just entering and entering and entering the screen and covering it completely.

ISD. Its big, its bad, and its the triangle. When you first see how big it is, you just say wow

ISD. It has a lot more screen time. Period.

Ftfy ?

Isd for sure

Yes the Cr90 is the FISRT Ship, but let's face it, the Devastator Takes that Scene. Plus we see WAY MORE Isd threw out the film's then the we see the CR90.

While pretty much everyone will recognize the cr-90 if you show it to them, Everyone that wasn't raised under a Rock (and even most of those people too!) Know the ISD by Name.

ISD is life

I I think therefore I am, ISD

Just ISD it!

I,S,D, Its In the Game!

Can ISD save you 15% or More on Ship Insurance? Do lightsabers users like cutting off hands?

you remind me when I opened the core box and said "a cr90! great! but also obvious... a neb! that's cool. wait! what is a Victory-Class Star Destroyer? Where is the ISD? Where the **** is MY ISD!!!!!"

Judging by @clontroper5 's picture, I'm going to say he is a little biased... doesn't mean he's wrong though. The CR90 Tantive IV is the most iconic ship in Star Wars... until the ISD takes up the entire screen pursuing it.

Happy Friday!!!

The daughter is coming up on 2 months and is FINALLY getting a personality and is being playful. I finally may get some seat time with Legion with others locally, but Armada may require me to practice with myself before CAPA Cup next month. Either way, I'm getting some game time in.

The ISD I suppose is the correct answer. I just wanted to vent/be proud pappa. ?

Fathers Across the Galaxy Trust ISD to Save your Wayward Children when they get a little Rebellious

The ISD is definitely the most iconic ship between the two.

CR-90 may have been the first ship to be on screen, and is more nostalgicly iconic for Star Wars fans.

But the ISD made a much bigger impression and everyone, Star Wars fan or not, recognizes an ISD as being very "Star Wars".

It also established what would be the "imperial style" even during the Republic.

I think the ISD would be more iconic. The OT is just so full of them. The Blockade Runner just didn't have enough time on screen.
