This is not the DXR-6 Disruptor Rifle, but the DX-6 Heavy Blaster Carbine that preceded it in the SWG game. It is one of my favorite models and I have used it in SWRPG as a slightly heavier damage carbine with identical stats except Damage of 10. It's so ugly that it's beautiful to me. Looks like a couple of MG 34 grips and part of its flash hider on some weird upside down receiver doubled up.

Thing is, it's a ***** to try and find it online. I felt like I needed to bring it up to try and preserve it lol. I drew an illustration of it on a page I use for weapon identification for my players, but none of the wikis show this thing for some reason. I feel it's a conspiracy

Any other interesting and/or hard to find weapons you guys like and want to share?

It looks like a pair of lightsabers (or one with an extended hilt) resting atop a fake gun body.

I'm not sure why they decided to supplant the model cause the one you show and that FFG uses doesn't even look like a Star Wars gun. They used WWI and WWII weapons on purpose because they didn't want to evoke images of Viet Nam. Also the grips on that thing don't look like they were meant for humans.

Not forgotten, but underappreciated, I always loved the DH-17 . Especially in Star Wars Galaxies, where you could basically get it in a pistol, carbine, or rifle, depending on your tastes.

As for forgotten. . . the SoroSuub Stormtrooper One Blaster Rifle. Everyone nowadays knows it as a BlasTech E-11 , but back in the day, West End Games established the most common blaster rifle in the galaxy, the primary arm of the Imperial Stormtrooper, was the SoroSuub Stormtrooper One, which was later revealed in a sourcebook to be a knockoff of BlasTech's E-11, which BlasTech renamed the "Freedom One" after the New Republic established itself.

hey thanks for posting this Erik I wasn't aware of that lore. The DH-17 is near and dear to my heart too. There was a thread not too long ago where someone posted a pic of the rifle variant I think and it looked great. Also that article links to the DH-17 short which is also awesome.
