Interview with the creators of Herroes of Terrinoth - Loads of new information revealed!

By TheWiseGuy, in Heroes of Terrinoth

Interesting comment about how Arkham Horror LCG has these fancy boxes for their "Return to..." series and today FFG announces the next one in line "Return to The Dunwich Legacy" which was designed by no other than Adam and Brady Sadler themselves, haha.

Well ill be darned! haha. Thanks for watching :)

Thanks for doing this interview. I noticed you asked about the items and Adam responded that most items are consumable. This bums me out a bit because upgrading gear is a big part of character progression. There is nothing like finding a sweet new weapon or armor piece! I hope they have a gear expansion in the future. Although, he did say "most" so perhaps there is some equipment. Or perhaps the equipment is consumable? That would be kind of cool.

Great interview! I'm so stoked for this game. I was going to wait until it released to buy it, but watching that video got me so pumped that I just preordered it along with the game mat.

I'm so glad! It's comments like these that make my day. Thanks for sharing :).

Is there a transcript or a subtitled video?

I'm sorry no. I have not explored how to do that yet :(

I’ve finally got round to watching the interview. Thank you very much for it, excellent work! I found the campaign vs. non-campaign discussion particularly interesting. By the end it had pretty much dispelled my disappointment after they said that there wouldn’t be a WH:ACG-like campaign in the box.

I felt the same way! I'm pretty pumped for it. I just played Street masters, another game of theirs, and it has a one of mission style that runs really well :)

Can anyone summarize the info in the interview for those of us not able to watch?

I think it's too much to cover and there aren't a lot of concrete things that I can remember. The most interesting things were the comments about how the game evolved during development and why changes were made from the previous version (Warhammer Auest: The Adventure Card Game).
