I've made a simple online squad visualizer. Export the 2.0 XWS from your favorite web site or app and paste it into the form at this location:

http://infinitearenas.com/xw2view/

The site will give you a visual depiction of the cards that make up your squad, suitable for printing if you'd like to proxy it (buy the game!). Printing works best in landscape mode, and I've had more luck on my desktop computer than on my phone.

Since it's a bare-bones site at this point, I'll mention that to enter a new squad, hit the refresh button.

Please let me know if you notice any bugs.

Correct, and that was on purpose. Since you’re supposed to be able to flip them, I left them off.

I might make that a setting in the future. My friends and I use this two ways. We print proxy cards when we don’t want to bother with our real cards, and we send these images to each other to give a nice visual depiction of our squads we are theorycrafting. I suppose for the latter use case, it would be nice to include them.

But I also forgot to set it up to put the Alpha Wing configs to the left of the pilot cards. So I’ll have to fix that regardless.

I decided you were right, and I adjusted the viewer to include S-Foils, Pivot Wings, and the Alpha-class configurations. I display both the top and bottom of the flippable config cards to the left of the pilot card. Use a token to designate which one is currently enabled.

I was curious how it would handle a large squad so I pasted in a 7 ship tie swarm, it only shows the first ship. I didn't do any digging to figure out if it is a problem on the XWS side or not but here it is if you want to try:

I don't think this is an issue with swarms, see below.

All of my testing was with YASB 2.0 exports. I incrementally removed a TIE fighter from an 8-academy list and tested at each increment. Always showed one, eve with only 2 ships.

I tried a Lando/Luke squad and it only got two cards in.

What we've found in another XWS-based venture is XWS doesn't have all the 2.0 stuff in. It doesn't have most of the Lando Falcon stuff for instance and that's crashing our Rebel Lando stuff. I think this may be hitting the same wall?

I fixed a bug caused by adding the Configuration cards that was preventing the additional ships from showing up. The only XWS code posted in this thread to this point that I couldn't get to work so far is Jendon's Bombers...

Edit: Jendon's Bombers works now.

Edit: Fixed 0-0-0.

Scyk: List won't display past equipped modification slot on Scyk (including any other pilots later in list) if no talent slot upgrade present (has equipped cannon slot), with talent slot upgrade, modification upgrade and cannon upgrade present it will fill out the list but the upgrades of the Scyk center on the top row of upgrades associated with the ship and layer the second line of upgrades under upgrades taken for pilots listed after the Scyk. With just the Talent upgrade and cannon upgrade the list won't fill out past the talent slot on the Scyk. With empty Cannon, missile, or torpedo hardpoint (hardpoint equipped, but no weapon added) but having just a talent slot upgrade, or a talent slot and a mod slot upgrade equipped allows the list display to populate normally. Modslot equipped and hardpoint selected but empty won't display past the Scyk's mod slot. With Modslot and empty missile or torpedo slot the list fills out normally, but cuts off if the missile or torpedo slot has an upgrade.

I think I understand the nature of the Scyk bug. If you look at the XWS, it always stops processing at the “hardpoint” entry. But side note, I won’t be able to do any debugging work until Sunday. So feel free to look for other bugs!

Could it be because there isn't a card to display for the hardpoint type? YASB 2.0 has the different secondary weapons split into different selections similar to the Heavy Scyk in the 1.0 version but YASB 1.0 had the hardpoint type tied to separate titles where as YASB 2.0 set up the option where there is no card for reference. Adding a slot doesn't seem to be an issue since the G1-A's title adds a cannon slot and tat translates over with out issue. Test of the T-70 X-Wing to see if there might be the same issue:

Got the same bug on the T-70, but something about having an upgrade selected in the first slot seems to sidestep it (astromech for the T-70 on YASB 2.0 instead of talent). Pilots also aren't showing up on most of these.

StarViper Dalan Oberos not showing the pilot card and only shows the first two upgrades selected in sequence from top to bottom, left to right except title which will only show when there is only one other upgrade:

Erm, I missed something about the Dalan Oberos Star Viper showing up when you have the Dalan Kimogila in the displayed list (you may have seen it but just in case). The Dalan Kimo card is there, it is just layered under the Dalan Star Viper one. I should have noticed that.

Chopper crew doesn't display and prevents the rest of the squad list and upgrades that follow it in the list from displaying unless the pilot it is attached to has an equipped Talent upgrade.
