Is this game still supported?

Hello, I purchased ToI perhaps 2 years ago, am just getting around to playing it. Before I really get started though, I am curious if FFG is actually still supporting the game. I ran into the Breaking Point map discrepancy right off, and noticed even though it was posted about years ago in multiple places it has not been added to the Errata, makes me think FFG just isn't paying attention. While I don't expect them to respond to me, it seems that some of the people on the forum here know the game well and keep up on gaming news - perhaps they could chip in with an opinion. By "support" I mean things like fix problems with the game, respond to people, release new game material. Or just simply do they seem to care about the people who have bought their game.

Regards,

Rob

Greetings Rob. I shall not be the leading member to post on this is there are allot more TOI members more qualified to answer your query, but i'll put in my 2 coins. As far as the errata goes, i don't actually they believe there is a problem with any of the scenarios, and personally, if one of them seems "unbalanced" or written incorrectlly, i simply play through the same scenario several times, making notes along the way and alter it on the scenario page as to what I think works best, to compliment the game.

They're have been several threads here that deal with "Support" or expansions to TOI. Read on my good man. They're is alot of information to be had. The latest "Official" word from someone with pull said that a new ex was forthcoming, but they would not officially announce it until, Blah, Blah Blah.

Most of us don't believe they are done, they've just got alot of irons in the fire.

Hi, thanks for the info. It does seem like a good game, and lack of balance does not bother me. To clarify, what I meant was how the map in the scenario guide does not match the actual map pieces. this is clearly an error in the image.

Regards, Rob

Interesting note,

I ran across the 2010 GENCON event list and Fantasy Flight has a ton of events going on and none of them include TOI, even Tannhauser has a few events. Take it for what it is, on the other hand the FFG event center is running a TOI/ WOW event in May. They didn't announce a new expantion but I doubt they would run an event if they had no intention of supporting the game.

However, there are still three "mystery games" they are running. One of these could quite possibly be the next ToI expansion. After last year's slip of Fury of the Bear and then its disappearance, this is FFG's way of sealing any leaks.

Gents, Run through the other scenarios and disregard that scenario. Some of them are quite good. As i said previously, balancing is easy to obtain, once you have played the scenario several times and understand it fully; from both sides.
