Sloane Bombers

By The Jabbawookie, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

The fleet is designed to emphasize hitting ships. Squall enables an alpha strike or turn one bombing run, flight controllers is to push through screens more easily. Thinking about swapping the Quasar for Centicore, like @Ginkapo‘s list. Vs a heavy squads list, it’ll be a choice between picking the fight carefully, trying to go where they aren’t (Yavaris) or leveraging Avenger’s high-value activation for a single, devastating strike at the start of the round. And yes, the Phantoms are too fun to go without. Thoughts?

That jumpmaster is fecked. It doesnt take nearly enough attacks to take the key players out of your squadball.

It’s really just a throwaway to set up one key round of bombing. After that and an Avenger shot, hopefully the target is either dead or crippled enough to finish without full squad support (although surviving Phantoms could disengage with cloak.) Do you recommend making space for Dengar/a tankier escort instead?

Well I have this really nice squad mix I recommend....

In yours, Jendon and the jump are far too exposed.
