Armada- Skirmish 10:00 a.m.

The Gold Squadron Classic is the first of many Gold Squadron large scale events. For our first event we will be running a charity of event to support the Boy Scout of America. All proceeds from this event will go towards Troop 301 and players will be very much rewarded for their participation. Star Wars: Armada will be one of the featured games at this event. All these events are limited and will sell out so please don’t wait!

• Each player must build one fleet to use in a tournament. A fleet cannot exceed 400 points, though it may contain fewer than 400 points. A player may choose to field a Rebel or Imperial fleet. A player’s fleet cannot contain more than 134 points worth of squadrons. A player’s fleet cannot contain more than two flotillas. A player’s fleet must also include a single commander and one objective card from each non-campaign category. Players must use the same fleet for the duration of the tournament.

• The tournament will be played of 3 Swiss Rounds to determine a winner.

• Swiss Rounds: 135 minutes each

• Players are responsible for bringing all of the game components they need to play a game of Star Wars: Armada. This includes all ship and squadron models, bases, pegs, ship cards, squadron cards, ship tokens, obstacles, upgrade cards, objective cards, and tokens. In addition, they must bring a damage deck, sufficient dice for attack rolls, a maneuver tool, and a range ruler. When a fleet list is required, players should bring a completed list or arrive at the venue early to fill one out.

• Players earn tournament points at the end of each round. At the end of a tournament, the player with the most tournament points wins the tournament. In the case of a larger event, they are instead used to determine who makes the cut to elimination rounds. Players earn tournament points at the end of each round as follows:
o 0–59 win 6pts loss 5pts
o 60–139 win 7pts loss 4pts
o 140–219 win 8pts loss 3pts
o 220–299 win 9pts loss 2pts
o 300-400 win 10pts loss 1pts

The Boyscouts will be providing us with a huge spacious venue. They will have food & drink available through out the day and will even deliver it to you! Adult beverages will be able for those 21 and older. Vendors will be on hand to buy and sell star wars merchandise.

I saw a lot of activity for the X-Wing champs this weekend at NOVA, I really wish you'd have streamed a few Armada games. This year had fierce competition and NO elimination games, which is where abbottabad Armada fails the hardest.

In any case, best of luck in this event and I hope we see more.

Thank you so much but Streaming is a difficult especially when you are trying to put a quality one out there and we only have the equipment for one stream at a time.

We're gonna have a lot of our locals making it out, so me, @geek19, @Jotto Otts1, and I believe a few others. Nate Coda can't make it, so while he will be missed, it does mean the rest of us have a chance now .
