it's all Chopper's fault! Okay, so Chopper's ability says to spend a charge from a non-recurring source to regain a shield. So, let's throw that PTSD droid on a generic Y-wing with Seismic Charges with 2 charges. Those charges don't normally recharge by themselves, but Y-Wings now have the reload action! So what happens? Y-wing takes a couple hits and veers away to use Chopper's ability. One charge gets eaten. Next round, the player keeps speeding away (such as it is for a Y-wing) and reloads, gaining a stress and weapon disable tokens. Next turn, those clear and Chopper gobbles up a charge for a shield.
Now, granted this whole thing is super situational and relies on the opponent being SUPER passive and leaving the Y-wing alone to do this AND there's the added catch that the Y-wing could only do this two rounds in a row before needing to reload, then having to deal with the stress and weapons disabled.
So, while no where near as powedful/annoying as it was in 1.0, it does still exist.
