More new ships from Star Wars: Resistance
Not much to go on, but most of them seem a bit derivative, unless they’re supposed to be uglies.
Still worlds better than most of the ST original designs.
It does occur to me though, we’re all hoping this show provides lots of ship designs for the sequel factions in the game, but it looks like the premise of the show is a resistance spy embedded in an unaffiliated racing team. In other words, these ships should really be scum, not resistance. Tricky problem for FFG.
Let us know when one of them makes it to X-wing.
That middle one, Klingon Bird of Prey?
Resistance, Scum and FO ships will surely appear in the backgrounds. They won't be consequential to the show but we'll spot them when they show.
Edited by Sk3tchResistance specific ships will likely show up in the second half or second season based on the time period of the show. That is unless they have the entire run of the show take place before TFA which would be such a missed opportunity.

This. Pretty uninspiring.

Looks like a Z-95 actually.
I'm pretty sure all of these were in the last trailer, though some of them for only a few frames. The one that kind of like's like a Y-Wing is the only one I don't fully remember from that.
They do look like they might be uglies, though. The second from the left looks like it's maybe got a TIE ball in the middle. The middle looks like it might have T65 engine pods. The next one to the right is the one people were saying looked a bit like a R-41 Starchaser. The one on the right is the most unique looking to me, doesn't remind me of much but I'm sure someone suggested it looks like something else in the other thread.
They all look like they are built out of legos, not that that is a bad thing, I love Legos.
I am liking the ships. As to the comments about them being uninspired.. I don't know what to say. I mean, there are only so many ways to make a ship - if the racing is mostly on the surface wings are likely a common feature for most, even with the repulsor technology of star wars.
Now as to the ships joining the factions, any first order racer is easily valid inclusion. But I suspect at some point, many of the racers will rise up against the first order - effectively joining the resistance. Story wise, as well as time period wise, this is a possible outcome of the series, likely by the second season - if the leaked 6 months prior time period is true.

I can admit, this new image looks a bit more promising:

They are ugly as ****

Top-right is ugly made from some TIE, it seems.
You wanted uglies? Be careful what you wish for...

The right one has subwoofers!

TIE Racer
5 forward green.
(pure conjecture)
Honestly, I HOPE this show spawns an official racing game variant mode. I'm sure a fan supplement exists, but an official one as a seperate game type - like epic, would be great.
The second ship from the right in the OP looks very much like a ship from the original TIE Fighter\X-Wing games

They aren't ships, they are airspeeders. We'll see T47s and T16s if we see these.

So is the TIE Striker.
From that angle I can see where you’re getting that, but I’m pretty sure that’s the 2nd from the left ship in the OP image, which looks a lot less like a striker.
