I will just leave this here .... what do you guys think? Alternative for the Kuat would be a BTAvenger for 138 Pts. which leaves me at 397 in total.

Overall I really love this list. Only real Question: Do I need to strip it down to get a better Bid for Initiative or is this fine?

I'm not a big fan of ACMs and XI7s together. You're preventing redirecting to the sides, and then doing damage to the sides. And I would absolutely take BTVenger over FCT with only 1 crit effect. A 5 point bid is not enough to ensure player 1 against most lists. I would also like to see a Comms net on those Gozantis so they at least do something besides pad activations.

Bid is totally dependent on your Meta. Around here 5 points is fine for casual but wouldn't be close to enough for tournament's. Here mid 380's is needed for tournament's and I have seen as low as high 370's. But that's here...

Problem here is that with the list being as it is I already spent too much anyway. Bid over here should be in the high 380s as well. With the BTAvenger with exracks and a commsnet i will be at 399.
For a Tournament that is not enough. But then again

@Thrindal- Do i need to be first? I will fly the Kuat and the Demolisher aggressively enough so that it shouldnt be too much of a problem to be second. Or is it? Triple tap Demolisher is sexy of course.

What can I skip? Gunnery Team on the VSD?

Oh and with the gozantis I can say they pull their own weight if flown correctly. Yesterday they killed a limping Assault Frigate over two rounds with double arcs and concentrate fire.

Your list looks pretty first player to me. Demo really needs first and the Kuat with no Squad support will melt away pretty quickly to a Squad heavy list. It needs to hit and run. By going first you can aim to get in their face with the Kuat going first in turn 3 (usually), then Demo last/first in 3/4 to either finish off the ship you hit with the Kuat or get started on a new target.

This is a very agro list and I am not sure the VSD is going to provide enough support unless you can use the Kuat and Demo to heard your opponent into the jaws of the VSD which isn't the easiest thing to accomplish.

I think if your relying on your Gozanti's for shooting I think you might want to rethink things, I mean it happens (I lost an ISD to a Combat GR75 recently) but you can't rely on that.

I agree you need Comm's net on at least one Gozanti, you need to get a little more than activations out of them.

All that said I build fleets that don't mind going second all the time. For this list Contested Outpost is what you want your opponent to pick going second, the VSD can just sit on the Station while the Kuat and Demo pick off incoming ships. But how do you get there? First Drop Station Assault for Advanced Gunnery. Nobody wants to face a Kuat with Advanced Gunnery. Your Navigation objective is tougher, Solar Corona isn't bad and may be your best choice but you could consider Salvage Run or Intel Sweep but the problem with both of those is if your opponent has strategic.

To wrap up I think you would benefit by being first player but if you are OK going second at least swap out Station Assault for Advanced Gunnery and come up with a plan for when you face Sloane or some other heavy squadron list.
