I picked up everything at GenCon. Core Set, three conversions and one of each expansion.

OK, I am going to have to admit to some ignorance on my part here. I didn't think you would get four copies of Barrage Rockets with that buying list? Were 2 of your 3 kits Imperial? Did you share cards with someone or recall which package the extra Barrage Rocket card came from? I thought there were three, or pessimistically two, per Imperial Conversion. The wiki doesn't have amounts, but does list the Imperial Conversion as the only source. That blurry number on the picture of the kit contents could be a three, but definitely not a four. My frustration with FFG may be exaggerated or misdirected, though only two Afterburners out of that purchase is also ridiculous. Heck, I tried to figure out how many came with the kit. The best copies of the complete content lists I can find are still blurry enough that I am not sure what numbers I am looking at some of the time. Most sources seem to think that a text list of the ships included is enough info.

Yeah, the possibility of a widespread point adjustment upon release is definitely real and practical. There is also the possibility of a restrictive list theme for the first round of competitive play, even if that would likely be a lot less popular and understandable. I could see them going with the new Squadrons as part of a theme, which would eliminate Howl + Iden at least.

You are correct. I was confused with a list I'd just built in Launch Bay Next with Three Bombers and Kestal. I have three Barrage Rockets. I was running Jonus, two Scimitar and Iden. Bombers all had Barrage, Cluster and Proton. And yeah, I know, why Iden. Cause I wasn't paying attention and thought her ability was for ANY TIE. But no, just TIE/ln.

Sort of on topic, is there a thread for doing trades and what not around? I have some excess stuff from conversion packs I would like to get rid of, but don’t really want to mess with eBay or such.

I imagine a few trading communities will spring up next month or so. There's already a trade thread in the forum, but I hope we have one dedicated to 2.0 content from the kits.

As an imperial player, I have a distinct lack of bombs. I never owned Slave I, and I never bought the K-wing, Ghost or the Resistance Bomber. I have 2 Punishers and 3 Bombers, and I plan to play bombs.

Now, there is pretty much no way for me to acquire these normally, since the only way now is to buy 1.0 products I never intend to play.

So yeah, the rebels have access to Bombs, but that's it.

I don't care, I will cut out some cardboard in the shape of the tokens. I mostly play casual matches with friends, and I can get by on events without conner nets but it is not what was advertised.

Bombs being official-only is particularly frustrating when 3rd party templates are allowed.

So you're complaining that they are putting enough cards in each core set so people won't have to buy cross faction? But if you do, you'll have a bunch of extra cards. Why is this a complaint?
