So I pre-ordered the new Expansion & Thrawn from my FLGS and decided to take a look at the other expansions on Amazon as I had a £5 voucher to spend, and all I see are stupid posts like this... it's not even out of stock yet from most sellers ?

I can't help but feel like Hondo is a great poster boy for this kind of thing, at least.
Gotta love that they felt the need to cover the delivery cost, gotta protect those margins.
Nothing wrong with people per se. Prices like this are actually determined by bots.

If you get the sale, the price is correct by definition.

Hence the per se.
Maybe message them to see if it's correct? But, Shi-t even 20 pounds is robbery.
Edited by NeverBetTheFettI'm pretty sure they misunderstood how Let's Make a Deal works...

Might be a good reason to give your FLGS some more money...

Oh it is, nothing close to RRP on amazon
Edited by DigimortalTried going to my local store. They have all but Hondo listed as out of stock... the wait begins...
If you are in UK, I preordered mine at https://www.bgextras.co.uk . price wasn't too bad. See if this works well for you too!
It's quite normal. When Amazon sellers don't have items in stock it is easier for them to bump the price up to an artificial level to prevent people making orders that they cannot satisfy than it is to remove the items from sale and then add them again later. It's specifically common with items that have a relatively low sales rate, small stocks and sporadic restocks. The "only 10 left in stock" is probably not accurate.

In Australia unfortunately. Want to support my local, so have ordered it with them. Will arrive whenever it does. No stress for me...
It's just Amazon being Amazon.
Since Australia moved to forcing Amazon.com.au to exist (so the taxman can their 10% cut), they've been price gouging and being just plain stupid all over. A book listed at 23USD and readily available was 300+AUD in price, with only 1 in stock.
We have a saying here: Spitting the dummy.
That's what Amazon have done. They got upset and spat the dummy.
Edit: Go with your favourite store and support them.

Yes, this. I understand they avoid re listing fees this way. Happens a lot
The price is actually fair. You just have to pay two VP first for it to drop to MSRP ?
