How much sequel trilogy stuff are you bringing with you into 2.0 as a new faction?

Both? One? Neither? Did you go out and hound more ships to make sure you could fill a conversion box?

I may have gone a hair overboard... I had my SF, 3x FOs (core plus one pack), an Upsilon and a silencer. After the contents were leaked.... yeah, let’s say I can fill a conversion kit except for the shuttle category. Traded away my Resistance ships and a surplus Wookiee because triple fur balls was no fun anyway.

I'm really not fussed about ST content.

I bought the second core for the new damage deck, Wired, BB-8 and to get some extra dice, I bought the T-70 for IA and the /fo for Juke.

I could never bring myself round to getting HotR, even for the PS9 Poe Dameron, Black One X-Wing and extra copies of IA because I just couldn't justify all that money on a second Falcon I was never going to use.

If there ends up being some nifty stuff in the re-releases, and a way to get Poe's X-Wing independent of other ships then I may pick up the expansions, and that might lead me to convert the few I have already. But I have so little ST content, and there's so much in the conversions that I'll probably just buy or trade for singles of the upgrades, dials and tokens.

I’ll buy enough to fill a kit, but I don’t know past that. Depends on how well they do re-engineering the bomber/SF tie.

Absolutely converting both FO and Resistance. I'm kinda perfect for FO, with exactly 7 TIE/fo, 3 TIE/sf, and 2 Silencers, probably looking to pick up a 3rd so that I can have all three the same size.

I mean, I know I'm going to grab all of Rebel/Scum/Imperial, but if the Resistance/FO factions were out at wave 1 with the original three, I'd convert those two first, and wait on the others for sales and such.

I have the least amount of multiples for FO, so a conversion kit (which will be cheaper anyways) makes sense. Also, since this faction needs to be fleshed out, it is the most likely to get 2.0 ship added to it immediately.

Otherwise, all the other extant ships I have will be used as 1.0.

Given the casual nature of my games, I'm hoping that 1.0 vs. 2.0 match-up can be a thing, other than the PIA of Init vs. PS.

I sold my Scum, easy decision. But funds are tight with wedding, new apartment, and we’ll probably have kids soon. So not planning on buying in to all the factions and I no longer have time for tournaments to get my usual $100 store credit a quarter, so this is the time to sell the factions I ain’t getting into. Really really tough to sell. I like Empire the most, so I got that preordered. Rebel/Resistance look so thematic and nice to switch the pace up, First Order will depend on how good their tie fighter swarm will look I think, CIS probably not, Republic hits a lot of nostalgia for me, so that will be tough to resist but if the new factions will have the most expansions and cost will be high.

I'm going to try to fill out my conversion boxes... I'm like three waves behind them though...ugh. I'll probably spend more on filling them then buying the conversion.

I’m actually waiting for wave 2 to convert to x-wing 2.0. I only plan to play with Resistance and FO.

Mix of all: Destiny

I think FFG won't give you much choice - the Wave 2 stuff will be just that little bit better than Wave 1 stuff, with some must-have upgrades.

I'm not even sure what's in a conversion kit. But I have:

4 t70

2 bombers

1 falcon

1 upsillon

1 silencer

3 tie/sf

4 tie/fo

I wanted a second silencer but after they said it was getting a re-sculpt, I decided to wait.

None.

I never bought any Resistance or FO. Not the 2nd core set either, as I just had bought an additional original core set, when second core was announced. I was absolutely not enthused by colour-negative-shifted models with designation "Greek-Letter/Colour-Squadron-Novice/Veteran/Ace".

I was also expecting and waiting a new core set, guessing appearance around Rogue One (which did not come).

I was for a moment tempted by Heroes of the Resistance and its better Falcon sculpt. But decided to abstain, cause I was expecting a faction split further down the road (which actually did come).

So I am saving a ton of money, luckily, cause I need to convert all 3 OT factions (several in the family play), costs more than enough.

Enh. Given the option of late, I’ve only been flying Scum in 2.0 proxy games. I’ll buy those when I feel I need them.

I’ll buy what I need to fly the pilots I want to fly (Rey, Poe, Kylo etc. ) so maybe enough ships for 2 lists. I’m not going to buy everything anymore. If I like the pilot/ship I’ll buy it. (So anything Han Solo as an example I pickup) but with the addition of CIS/Republic on its way that’s where I’ll pick everything up. But if I like the character I’ll buy it.

Probably not immediatly. But FO for sure, resistance probably. I'm kind of hoping for a resculpt for the bomber, that would sell me on the resistance.

One old faction (Rebels) and one new faction (FO) is the best balance for me.

I'll get both kits as I go, I've loved flying T-70s and SFs (even when not mixed with other ships).

Will grab the Res A-Wing as it seems cool.

But as I've not even pre-ordered the Scum conversion yet, I'm going to wait on these. Spend the first few months just rinsing Imps and Rebels.

I will be keeping my 3 t-70ies as I enjoy flying them. The old dial is close enough for me to just keep using those (I might sharpie in the two new extra greens).

Tbh they should have dropped all 5 factions immediately and then introduce new ones. All people i know are selling FO/Resistance to make money and space for normal factions because waiting for your faction to drop to play 2.0 would be boring.

(i might not sell FO though because i love upsilon, but while i love my 7 t-70s (i got 5 of them at super low price and i used them for epic), i have no need of playing a faction this small and i can't really afford more than 3 factions anyway)

I can't wait to play with the First Order with a elite swarm squad ! I have 9x tie/fo ; 2x Tie/Sf ; 1x Upsilon ; 1x Tie Silencer so only one kit will be good enough !

T-70's are great, so I'm probably getting a kit. They have spoiled a lot of non-Jess Pava T-70 pilots though...press F to pay respects.

FO for sure, gunna stokck up on TIE/FO's even.

Resistance, probably. Purely for Poe.

With all of the turbulence going on with Lucasfilm (Kathy is getting the boot come the end of the fiscal year), I'm not sure if FO and Resistance will be around long enough to be worth hopping into.

Hopefully Ep. 9 and Resistance give us enough to work with because we will NOT have any more sequel era content after these are done.
