We have a Launch Party at our shop, where only core and 1st cycle is allowed. I only played a low amount of games casually and I need tipps for the list I will take to the tournament and what I probably will face. Rebel lists are prefered, thanks in advance.

Looks like an event for new players (learning listbuilding etc) but those cards are too good to pass up.

of course vader isnt on the other side because core set but its not like there isnt a single named pilot in the core for tie fighters.....

Next problem: how many stores have or know about these cards so they can actually host a launch event? My local has no information at all except for the news page.

Actually, come to think of it... If we have extras which we very well might depending on how many are in the kits, pm me and I'll see if I can just mail you one. Me and some of my friends up here run the games at three of the stores so odds are will have one

my FLGS was given a Package option for his 2nd e stock. set number of cores, conversions, dice, dials, ect. These launch party cards were included in that. it said two sets of cards. how many cards are in a set? no idea. At the time, we had no idea what the alt arts were for. Now we kinda know!

Thanks. My store's X-wing guy is enquiring with the distributer about the cards. I have no information about any possible packages, and he hasn't mentioned any, so I suspect it's different in the UK?

my FLGS was told in order to get these cards they needed to order 25 sets of dice & all faction dial covers in order to get these promo cards .... ?? !!! So better hope you have a large FLGS cause really?? what store wants to carry 25 sets of the stuff that will sell the least?!

Interesting. I know my FLGS ordered 12 and is supposed to get them.

That's 12 of everything. dice, covers, conversion kits(each) and core sets. Not sure about individual ship expansions but he did order everything but one that he's got a lot of 1st ed in stock.

My local store told me in order to get these he had to order a crazy number of core sets plus a set number of each conversion, dial upgrade, dice and each expansion. We are a smaller store so he passed.

I hope this isn't true. My store owner is supposed to check Monday. Gonna be very disappointed if this is true.
