Hello. I'm building various terrain pieces for X-Wing using card stock. I've found paper templates for the AT-AT , Turbolaser and Shield Generator . The one thing I'm having trouble finding is a template for the Ion Cannon from the Battle of Hoth . Anyone know where I might find one? I've Google quite a bit with no success.

I looked and couldn't find anything either.
I do remember years ago running across a Japanese papercraft site that had gobs of Star Wars models. Maybe someone will read this and it will jog their memory.

Not sure how to edit the topic title.
Never mind. I figured it out. (Editing the topic title that is)
Edited by dwaynedauzatTurbo laser turrets and the shield generator I create myself using resin casts. I hope to start building my own ion cannon tomorrow using a plastic ball as my starting point.
If you're crafty (as in with making crafts) you could probably make one with a Styrofoam ball, some plasticard, discarded pens/markers and some glue+paint.
As long as you get the spirit of the object you're tying to make, I doubt anyone will question how screen accurate you are.
@Force Majeure Thanks for the motivation. I used a 4" Styrofoam ball, highlighter tip and 1/4" audio plug. It's not exact, but like you said, I think it catches the spirit of the weapon well enough.
Looking great!
It absolutely works.
Perfect. Great work!
