Rebel Stacks (2e)

By Rakaydos, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Like the Magic deck archetype of the same name, this list attempts to massively out-action economy the enemy, and count on the dice to go it's way because of it.

Ezra and Sabine are basically the same build (though Sabine's is significantly better), Barrel roll for a red evade (Sabine can make it white), Clear stress on movement, Double focus, potshot with the ion cannon, defend with evade and 2 focus on 3 dice.

Kyle is a support build, able to have as many as 4 focus tokens (though no evades) and give 1 to an ally. He also brings Jam to the table, trashing the enemy's ability to hit or evade, while Moldy Crow lets him keep his own token stack. (alternatively, Jyn Erso+stealth device slows down his token generation, but allows evade token stacking on all ships)

Ezra Bridger (41)
Supernatural Reflexes (12)

Tbh, while you're right about crazy action economy, I'm worried about this list's health. And without rerolls, there are limits to offense

Action economy by itself isn't that huge, it's stacking modifiers

Moldy is a ****** monster because it can derp around with FOUR focus to tank a miniswarm, or two + tl

Attack shuttles with just focus + evade...eh it's fine for the cost but otherwise unimpressive. Wimpy offense and nerfed evade mechanics make it far more balanced.

If you really want action stack cheating, you'd want to look into synergy. Cracken chaining into "Dutch" double locks is a great example

Unfortunately, I think Dutch's paying too much for his ability ATM, hut you can still do

Kyle (perceptive, moldy)

Biggs

Dutch (proton, dorsal)

Cracken (crackshot)
