So what your go to list these days aka what’s in your weekly store kit?
Been building Bombers and Punishers in various configurations.
My fav is now Redline with Rhymer and Jonus wingmen.
I also tried a support lambda with Imp crews, but none of the lists really convinced me that I should play them.
I miss weapons engineer
and other generic support crew. The Unique crew of the empire is great (except Krennic
) but I feel like they should have more generic crew (and gunners)
I still don't see a reason to use any cannon builds, except HLC spam against large ships.
To help ring-in 2.0, a handful of local stores are doing Alternate-Format Tournaments this weekend!
On Sunday in particular one store is having a tournament with no duplicate upgrades and no duplicate natural Pilot Skills.
90% sure I’m taking dual ghosts to our last store championship. Pretty sure it won’t win, but damnit I’m tired of TS proton bombs. I haven’t actually played this list since jumpmasters came out, and I’ve never taken it to a serious event.

I built one list for each Faction with stuff that was pretty broad and generic. I managed to get one game in tonight and then let a buddy play his first 2.0 with my stuff.
I made an Imp list I tried:
Double Edge Tie Aggressor with stuff
Storm Squadron X1 with FCS
Inferno Tie that lets you reroll green dice
Scimitar Bomber with Homing and Cluster
I played Tie Punisher Jason who had Redline, 2 Saber Squad Interceptors w/ Stealth, and a named Tie (one Inferno). His dice were really hot, which was a change for him. Big time change. Mine were crap. I also landed on a rock or two. I lost, but it was fun. I almost got Homing Missile off on one of those dang Interceptors, but he was able to dodge my arcs.
I loaned my Rebel list to Eelbeater. He kept forgetting everything that was on it.

Eelbeater went against the same list and didn't realize that the Punisher could Boost that far (medium base now) and get a TL. Everything fired and killed the U-wing in a round. It was just downhill from there. Tie Punisher had 1 hull and Fuel Leak Crit, but all Imps made it home.
My weekly kit is in a state of flux, and has been for much of the summer. There hasn't really been a stable list that I've flown as I had checked out on 1.0 and was spending more time setting up HotAC scenarios, or dragging in scenery for scenarios or something.
Now that I've got a conversion kit for 2.0, I've been throwing all sorts of random, weird ships together that I had abandoned years ago. I had to dig out my TIE Punisher last night. TIE PUNISHER PEOPLE! It hasn't seen the light of day since it was still relatively new. Anyway, with all these things I want to try out I'm once again not feeling like I've got much stability.

My latest Rebel mess is very similar to this in appearance, anyway... Instead of an X-Wing I grabbed a HWK. Offense seems to be the way to go in 2.0 and I want to try the HWK and U-Wing next. 198 points so far but it's still being tweaked until next time I can find an opponent.
