But the Alliance scored a victory last year when three operatives from Singapore smuggled themselves aboard an Imperial transport and managed to attend the World Championship. One of them, General Phua, won the Championship with superb gamesmanship.
Given that organized play is not accessible in many Asian countries, and the ladder to Worlds is now by invitation only. How will we be able to compete at worlds with this new system, given we are unable to access any official championship materials/kits and how will the 2017 World champion even compete in future tournaments?
