Rebel Lucrehulk-class Battleship

By Piratical Moustache, in Star Wars: Armada

I wrote in a previous discussion that, in my opinion, FFG should release Republic ships for the Empire (Venator and Acclimator) and modified/salvaged CIS ships (Lucrehulk, Providence, and Recursant) for the Rebellion.

From here a Clone Wars campaign box can be released with new Republic/CIS cardboard for each ship. (The campaign could come with a fighter pack to add Clone Wars era craft to the mix as well.) Campaign restrictions would limit which vessels can be used by either side, creating a Clone Wars setting for Armada without adversely affecting existing game balance.

Eh... is it fair to ever put "mainstream" and "comic series" in the same line when talking about Star Wars?

I mean, we all joke that Star Wars novels are obscure, yet I've known far more friends and gaming acquaintences who have read the novels but very very few who ever touched the comics.

Since this post was made, they've shown up in a few more places. Fortressa and Lucrehulk Prime might be titles that can be added to Armada to represent these unique ships in Armada, similar to rebel Ties in Xwing.
