House Martell/Kings Guard Incomplete Deck any Advice?.

I'm working on a House Martell deck with " The White Book " Agenda. This will be mainly a Melee deck, but also may be used from time to time in joust.

This deck is quite Knight Heavy.

Currently I do not have the amount of each card I want, for I do not know that much yet. I'm fine with duplicating Some of my Unique characters. Also this so far seems to be pretty aggressive at times, any idea's on how to make it a little more defensive?; or would I end up switching Houses for a more defensive deck?.(Say Barathorn or Starl maybe?)

Before we go onto the cards list, While working on this deck I came across this post by White Phoenix and his deck gave me the inspiration and ideas and some ideas for the deck I'm attempting to construct.

Taste of Blood on whom? :)

Add Starfall and 3 x Knights of the Sun:)

Add Shadow of the South/Bronze Shield to prevent play events.

Rumors of War is good event too in this deck.

Plots:

Song of Summer is good.

Winds of Winter too.

Fear of Winter is annyoing so put it:)

I have a similar deck here in the forum that you can feel free to borrow ideas from. As far as plots go Tides of war is fun if you are playing with seasons, some kill might be helpful (i.e. wildfire) and on a personal note I'm looking at running Desolate Passage in my deck. And if you don't mind me asking why no Venomous Blade?

Knights of the Sun are getting added in, I don't seem to have a Starfall or Bronze Shield card Yet. (Haven't gotten The Defenders of the North Packs yet! as soon as I do though). Shadows of the south and Rumors of War have been put in.

Whom would you put Taste of Blood on?.

As for the plots they have been taken into consideration and placed into the pile for the time being,

I am liking the idea of Desolate Passage. The other two have been placed into my Plot pile (But i have to do some narrowing down here soon) as for Venomous Blades I seem to have over looked them in my list! they will be in there.

We'll here is my two cents. If since its mainly going to be a melee deck, here are some ideas.

Valor or Wildfire Assault , Always good to keep players in check with a reset button.

Westros Bleeds, again another reset button

Some one always tells, it can be very effective when played at the right time, but this one depends on play style.

The Red Keep, if your going to play the above two events

Samwell Tarly , Lots of ravens to be played in a melee and that means lots of cards to draw.

Nomadic Trader , May seem odd, but again in a melee there are alot of events too. It can help with dominance too.

Elaria Sands, I heard somewhere stealing power is good.... lol.

Maester of Lemonwood, helps get rid of those pesky condition attachments. ( motley, milk of the poppy, bodyguard, fishing net.... )

Bringers of Law, a constant defender in a defense deck... what could be better?
