Jendon enables quite the shenanigans! If you drop Sloane, you could use all Protons, but I do like the Homing Missile and the stress control, especially since Bombers still go down quite easily. The potential rerolls may also save some TLs for later consumption. This list offers 3-4 fully modified 4 dice shots, which is pretty rare in 2.0, and still has a chunk of health with 3 dice next to it (that can also double mod on the first engagement in theory). With arc-dodgers no longer anywhere near as slippery (at long range) and damage spikes being much rarer, could this be a strong list?

I proxied a similar list vs myself in TTS. I actually play Rebels, but the Jendon Bomber swarm seems super strong. With this build, you do lose one TIE Bomber, but gain the Talent slot. Not sure if Elusiveness is the best EPT, the idea was to help them survive vs higher Initiative ordinance (though PS 3 is relitavely high). Trick Shot maybe, then take a solid second crew on the Lambda? This is what I ran it as:

Gamma Squadron Ace — TIE Bomber 30
Elusive 3
Proton Torpedoes 9
Proton Bombs 5
Ship Total: 47
Gamma Squadron Ace — TIE Bomber 30
Elusive 3
Proton Torpedoes 9
Proton Bombs 5
Ship Total: 47
Gamma Squadron Ace — TIE Bomber 30
Elusive 3
Proton Torpedoes 9
Proton Bombs 5
Ship Total: 47
Colonel Jendon — Lambda-Class Shuttle 46
Admiral Sloane 10
Ship Total: 56

Total: 197 (Yet Another Squad Builder link)

I'd consider the Gammas more for PS than their elite slot, but losing an entire ship is tough. I also don't think the bombs are all that great in this list, because I expect at least one bomber to go down early and the fewer bombing ships you have, the less threatening they are.

I think things archetype is so strong. If they let you joust they lose. There isn't much you can't erase in the first engagement.

I like Jonus Jerjerrod myself.

By matching initiative you can do some disgusting things with bombs with a Jerjerrod boost followed by a 2 bank bomb drop. This means you can bomb someone in front and off to the side from you.

Also boost lambda...far out

Torps and Bombs (200)

Colonel Jendon — Lambda-Class Shuttle 46
Moff Jerjerrod 12
Ship Total: 58
Captain Jonus — TIE Bomber 36
Crack Shot 1
Proton Torpedoes 9
Ship Total: 46
Gamma Squadron Ace — TIE Bomber 30

Proton Torpedoes 9
Skilled Bombardier 2
Proximity Mines 6
Ship Total: 48

Proton Torpedoes 9

I like it because Sloane is in there. She is a powerhouse card many people are looking over. She should be a staple in many imperial lists because of the fragile ships. Double stress is no joke, on top of passive rerolls just from the enemy doing red actions or maneuvers, or actually killing your ship.

Nice list. May have to give it a whirl since I happen to have 4 bombers.

Yeah, she could be quite the monster. I think the trick will be finding a place where she will not be focused on and brought down in a turn. The Reinforce on the Lambda should help a lot.

Well in this list focusing her ship early means eating four warheads, that should create difficult targeting decisions already. Not killing a TIE Bomber on the first turn of engagement kind of plays to this lists advantage.

Barrage Rockets >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all other ordnance on low Initiative Ships

It's really difficult to understate how problematic low Initiative target-locks can be to acquire, especially when dealing with obstacles

Jendon is an obvious exception, of course. But if you don't want to shackle yourself to him, Barrage Rockets are still incredible for their cost

That is very much true, but creates a list that operates under a different paradigm. This list is capable of removing any ship on the first turn of engagement, unlike the barrage rocket one. 3 x 4 dice (assuming one bomber goes down with no shot) with double mods are just a lot more likely to overwhelm defenses.

This list is thanks to Jendon-clunkyness much harder to operate consistently, but 3 Rhos + QD has demonstrated that the LRS-playstyle can work if based on frames that are efficient enough.
