Sword weilding ravens!

Can a "Carrion Bird" really wield attachments like "Rusted Sword", or has there been an errata?

I've noticed so far that the cards tend to do a good job at 'making sense' to, at most, a stretch of believable. A sword swinging bird the only exception to this I've found. Any others out there for humor's sake?

There has been no errata and the Carrion Bird can still take attachments. Even though Creature characters usually have the "No Attachments" keyword, I think there was likely a conscious decision to let this one take attachments. It's ability was so pivotal in the Time for Ravens cycle that taking attachments, both good and bad, made it a far more interesting card.

Remember, it may have the potential to be a sword-swinging bird, but it can also be caught in a Fishing Net, made to wear Motley or be find itself under Arrest and imprisonment.

I hear that ravens hate to wear motley, especially after they've been eating carrion. Nobody can take them seriously (and it's definitely a hit to their social lives). Funny enough, I find that my opponent's birds for whatever reason love to be kissed by flames....It's the strangest thing.

Ghost from the Core Set is like this too. He's a creature but accepts attachments. I thought it must have been an error when I first saw the card but have not heard anything about an errata for him.

Yepp, the Carrion Birds in this game behave a bit strange...

I've seen them equipped with War Horns and cunsulting with their personal Court Adviser... gran_risa.gif

You think thats odd, ive got dragons that should be burning the countryside but they are too busy chasing skirts in the lannisport brothel.
