Global Effect crew on docked ships.

So suppose Leia Crew is on a Zeb Attack shuttle, Docked to a Hera VCX.

Can Leia use her ability to make all ships reduce difficulty, if she isnt on the board?

"Abilities of a ship" cannot be used in reserve, but Leia's ability is an upgrade.

Currently the only exception is the Pilot Abilities of the Scum escape craft as is outlined in the Co-pilot ship ability on those escape craft. The attack shuttle gives Ghost a rear primary arc (as is printed on the attack shuttle card) while docked. Check out pg 19 of the Main rule book. Bottom left of the page.
