I have been waiting for Speeder Bike pegs missing from my Core box since launch day, I raised a request that was accepted, but weeks later there is no sign of the parcel. I raised a second request, and they have said I did not provide enough info and need to send photos. Despite my request referencing the first reference number and asking about the missing parcel?

Pretty crappy response! I'd like to use the unit one day.... thanks.

Have you tried sending photos? I once got an X-Wing expansion that was missing one of the pilot cards. I took a photo of the pilot cards that did come with the expansion to show that one was missing, and received the missing one in the mail. I know it seems a little odd taking a photo to show what is not there, but the FFG instructions for missing, or damaged parts are to include a photo. So I would advise you try doing that.

I think the response is valid...did you try simply doing what they asked you to do in the first place?

My core set was missing one piece of a movement tool when I got it at launch. That day, I sent a request including a picture of all the pieces of movement tools that I had, I got the replacement in about a week.

I took a picture of a missing squadron in Armada and received a replacement rather quickly.

FFG requests photos to ensure purchase and to see exactly what pieces are missing. I purchased 3 core sets and all 3 sets were missing the AT-RT second handle bar, I was missing 1 pack of 2 stormtrooper squad leaders, 2 heads from a rebel pack, 2 speeder bike handle bars (both had something else extra) and an AT-RT body that was not aligned when assembled so the antenna wouldn't mount properly.

I sent photos of everything I had and got replacement parts in 3 days. They have always been extremely accommodating and quite timely in how they handle things.

It's funny, I was missing mine when painting my set up and I figured it was so tiny that I screwed up and lost it while priming. It never occurred to me the piece was missing to begin with.

I was missing a blaster and left stabilizer from one of my core-set speeder bikes. I filed a request with a very specific picture (comparing a valid speeder bike to one missing the parts I needed).

I got a blaster and two *right* side stabilizers.

Whoever fulfilled my order attached a note that said:

Wow this is helpful because, kinda pissed off, I bought the core box today and literally can't put the bikes together.

Looks like there is no slot to insert the foot pedals, the fins on the front have nothing to slot into?

Or do you simply have to glue those pieces somewhere? The book is vague on how some of those parts attach.

All the models are intended to be super glued together, although it's a good idea to hold off on glueing down parts that would obscure another piece of the model until you paint everything (i.e. guns held with both hands, the biker and AT-RT rider, Snowtrooper's torsos and Vader's cape). In particular, the pedals for the speeder bikes are the very last thing you should glue on.

The speeder bikes in general have a lot of fiddly bits. It doesn't help the instructions show the model at a bad angle that hides the slot for the exhaust/spotlight/whatever that's on the left side. The parts you're talking about do have small indentations to help them stay in the right spot, but they will need glueing down (Do the pedals last, though*)

*Actually, if you have an epoxy like blue tac or its generic counterparts used for hanging posters, you can use that to stick the biker to their seat, then use a tiny piece of epoxy to hold the pedals to their feet and then glue the pedals on. Once the glue is dry, you can pull the biker and the epoxy off, and you'll have the pedals attached without having to glue the biker down, making painting easier.

Okay thanks, I thought I noticed where the pedals should go but the illustration shows like a peg on them that isn't there on the physical pieces, so I wasn't sure.

Yeah the speeder bike is by far the worst thing to put together. Much harder than the ATST, for example. Just a bunch of fiddle parts and uncertain attachment points. Take your time and it will come out looking fine.

As far as the original post, I’m sorry you have had this experience. I got a core set missing an ATRT handlebar and they sent it to me right away. I would encourage you to take the required photos and try again.

Well as I was dry fitting everything together, I noticed on the HH-12 Stormtrooper, I received an arm, instead of one of the trooper legs ?
