Matt’s not scum for the same reason I’m not scum: We’re both brand new. I know I wouldn’t have had the foggiest f-ing idea how to play scum (or even what it really meant until, basically, now.) More importantly, I don’t think Jabba would give a new guy (gal?) that kind of role, first game in.
Ebon, while everyone knows what you’re saying is technically true, the agressivess with which you’re saying it is over the top.

Gengis - alignments are usually randomly determined (have never known a game where the Mod decides actually).
Also, with 11 players, 2 scum and 1 third party would be the usual. 3 scum and 1 third party (serial killer no less!) would be very unusual.
Lastly, this is Ebon’s playstyle - very aggressive in pursuit of targets. Both when he’s scum and Town!

Actually, I’m not sure I believe it. In fact, even if Jabba confirms, is there any oversight mechanism to confirm random selection? If I were him, I’d certainly be tempted to cut the new guys a break.

Re-read every past game mate, we always give the new guys a break this is a first and only because I sense a genuine scum vibe...
