It refers to printed attack pool, does that mean you can't use it for attacks like BT1's missile salvo or the Tusken ranged attacks?
Thrawn Cards Revealed on FB

You can use it after any attack resolves. If you’re doing a missile salvo, you’ll probably only want to do it after the last attack so he doesn’t get stunned and would be unable to perform any remaining attacks. The ability on Heavy Fire referring to the attack pool is just determining how many figures you get to choose. BT can choose 3 figures to take a damage, because he has 3 dice in his printed attack pool (BRY).

It remains to be seen if it will make an impact in the meta, but I think it has a chance to be more than a card you stick in the binder and never look at again. You’ll have to plan around the negative effects to max it out, but compare it to attachments like Scavenged Weaponry or Feeding Frenzy. (I know, bad examples because they suck.) For 1 point, those add a single damage to an attack. You have to use both of those on declare. If you assume 3 attacks in a game with that figure, you’ll get maybe 3 damage out of those (unless it’s wasted overkill).
Heavy Fire isn’t an attachment. Right off the bat, it’s much more flexible. If you use it on 3 attacks in a game on a figure with 3 dice in the attack pool, you have the option of spreading up to 9 unmitigatable damage IF you need it. That flexibility is what gives this card a chance.
I think it pairs well with any character who can blast. Sure you take negative status effects, but your CCs can help mitigate that.

There are several options more reliable than command cards too. Unshakeable, Motivation, Trusted ally are all upgrades that can remove harmful statuses. It makes it more expensive, but I’m thinking of pairing with at least one of those
On the empire side of it, Jets have easy access to grenadier and overrun (and now this) for unmitigated damage. Rebels have Drokkata with shrapnel and other shenanigans plus Sabine for unmitigated AOE damage. Combining that with heavy fire could potentially kill more figures without even having to attack them (super strong for taking out Han) or force your opponent to make suboptimal positioning choices. Let's at least give it a shot and see.
Also no one is talking about it because the other flashy stuff, but Combat Resupply is bonkers good. On round 1 even you can easily hand out more than an assassinate's worth of damage without even spending an action. And then there would still be room for the block tokens from Extra Armor...
Also BT-1 and 000 and Sentries would be great candidates for using that card even in merc lists, so you can still buff those merc attacks to all close figures...that's crazy

Combat Resupply, I mean.
I think Combat Resupply is a solid card and have exactly thought about it's inclusion in a Droid build with BT-1. However, I think you're missing the round no. requirement. First turn, this card gives 1 token. Nothing more. I think it's super solid on turn 2-3. It may be worth testing with troopers as you can get the tokens, and spend them immediately.

Right, each figure doesn't get [current round #] damage tokens. You get [current round #] tokens, and you distribute them among friendly figures within 3 spaces.
I thik heavy fire would be a good card if you choose the conditions not the opponent. Stun for 1 damage isn't good, weaken is
Though weaken wouldn't really affect heavy weapons as they roll black dice but if you got the condition at the end of your activation it could be useful and balanced.
Edited by NagyLaciOn first look, I thought that Heavy Fire would be not worth using. However after giving it some more thought, I think it would be a great way to finish off one or more figures in one blow, giving auto damage in the process regardless of whether the attack hits or not. This could especially good against figures who are hiding around a corner or something like that.

Considering how quickly massive figured get focused down, (due to line of sight/threat priority) not to mention that these same units are commonly the target of status effect anyways, more damage is a plus in my eyes; especially since there are plenty of CC's and deployment cards to mitigate this issue. All blasters get blastier.

I was thinking just that. Who cares if on one of their last activations they get 2 or 3 conditions. They're likely dying soon anyway. It could be nice to go out in a blaze of glory.

Only one character in this game gets to go out in a Blaze of Glory. Alright, 2;
Agent "Blaze" and his "high" command of Spy Troopers

I mean, after L337 in Solo, it's only a matter of time before we get a droid called st0n3r-420

If you can't wait for the next embarrassing spin-off film to make its way to theatres, you'll surely be able to find that name, and names like it all over online FPS lobbies.

Very true.
Honestly, I liked Solo. I even like L337's character.
But good god, what a stupid name. At least K2's name, while still referencing something, was a little less on the nose.
Well we already got Poe "Dameron", named after the director's assistant. We also get Ello Asty named after the Beastie Boys album. Very star wars. Thanks Hollywood!
Edited by NeverBetTheFett...and Chewbacca was named after George Lucas' dog & Luke after GL himself. So yeah, these names are squarely within the SW tradition.
Solo was a good movie and a love letter to Star Wars. There are wiser things to hate on in the world than Star Wars

I don't know- it's one thing to be inspired to name something, another to name it some sort of weird reference. Like, I don't mind if Poe is named after someone involved with the film, but naming a droid Leet is hardly different than calling it Eye-Tee.
Ello Asty and Slowen Lo do push the envelope for me, a little. I guess I see them more like Greedo- stupidly named, but at least they're pretty minor characters.
Anyway, to stay on subject- do we think that we're getting actual articles for the figure packs, or is Facebook releases the new medium for this?

How dare you go against the negativity and cynical hyperbole made popular by thousands of YouTube movie """"""""""review"""""""""" channels?! Don't you understand that millions of viewers love this shrill and hysterical choir of zoo-noises and its cacophony of sharp rhethoric masquerading as insight and analysis. You have to either shout 'racist' or you have to shout 'sjw' to get yourself noticed.

To be fair, they did post a skirmish article with regards to TOL. It is a strange to get the blister information from other sources, but I'm ok with a few unspoiled cards. Last blister wave was so exciting to uncover unspoiled material.

I agree. I found Solo and Rogue One a lot better than the "new class" movies. I just won't go around telling everyone how stupid they are for liking them. To each his own! As long as it's Star Wars!

Oh, for sure. To be clear, again, I absolutely loved Solo. It's just that one thing that bothers me.
