So with all the scuttling a question got raised about how much of the edge must be touching the terrain when you exit. More to the point can you just have a corner touching?

The rules talk about which edge to touch, does the corner satisfy that requirement?

I prefer to not use corners, but I have never read anything in the rules to support either opinion.

The rules do a poor job delineating between edge and corner, so it's not ironclad, but we've always played that corners can't be used because an edge must have some length, which corners don't. That said, with the geometry of some of the terrain, you can get darn close.
