Most likely not, but if they do, I doubt it would be as big as brood war was. The game would have way too many units if they incorporated SC2 units. It is possible they would add a few gameplay components, but not the units, buildings, technology, etc. from SC2. Dude
If they made SC 2 into a board game I'm thinking they would build it from the ground up into something completely different from the orginal SCBG.
I agree with Dillosaur. StarCraft 2 is a completely new computer game rebuilt from the ground up... not an expansion to the original StarCraft. I would think Fantasy Flight would treat the board game the same way.
I don't think we'll see a starcraft II boardgame. Why create a game similar to the first one? Wouldn't pay off for FFG I assume.

A bit off topic:
From what I've seen StarCraft II is essentially StarCraft I with better graphics. Sure they changed a few names and probably added/removed a few abilities but the gameplay is 99% the same. Which is lame for 2010 standards if you ask me...
StarCraft I was a brilliant game but now, moving the mouse and clicking faster than your opponent is not considered "strategy" anymore.
To get back on track, I believe that there is absolutely no point to create a new StarCraft game because it will antagonize with the original's sales.
The only reason that justifies making a new game is making it completely different and tactical with units battling each other on the battlefield and not strategic as in Starcraft the Boardgame.
As there is no NDA in place. I can tell you that the sequel is almost exactly like the original. So a separate board game wouldn't make sense. The only thing I could see is if they added the new units, but honestly I wouldn't see that happening.
Looks to me like FF are using the buzz around Starcraft II to promote the original boardgame.
