R4 and the Sheathipede

By K13R4N, in X-Wing Rules Questions

The sheathipede has a red backwards 1 would R4 make the backwards white?

Im now imagining the salt! I super expensive dash doing hard 1s till hes red in the face and AP5 going forward and back next to Dash.

Reverse Straight and Reverse Bank is considered a different maneuver to Straight and Bank....with a listed speed, which is 1. So...yes, that seems to hold up. With an R4 on board, a sheathipede can fly backwards at will.

No, as R4 specifies basic maneuvers which are then shown as hard-turns, banks, and straights. This is further covered in the rules reference with a list of both basic & advanced manuevers, with reverse-moves falling under advanced.

Ah. That's where it's caught. Nice spot.
