And supernatural reflexes equipped, if Luke performs a boost does he take a damage? I would assume the closed s foils counts as adding boost to his action bar but wanted to double check. I also assume I can choose to flip s foils then trigger his force talent?

You are right. The boost is added to the action bar, it is confirmed in the Rules Reference.

Also correct that you can flip the Sfoils immediately before doing the force talent.

No damage (symbols on the right of upgrades are added to the action bar), and yes he can flip then activate Reflexes (or Reflex then flip!) since they share a timing window and you choose activation order.

You can do multiple things "before you activate" but can only do each thing once. So no flipping, boosting, flipping back, if that's what you're asking.

It was, and you gave the answer I expected, I just wasn't sure.

That said, Luke probably doesn't mind proton torps just for a firing option that doesn't care about s-foil position.

Indeed. Close Foils, Force Boost, Lock, Torpedoes away and rely on Luke's ability for defence is a perfectly viable option so long as you've still got torps in the tubes.
